Mark Dacascos is in “John Wick 3!” I couldn’t be happier with this decision as I feel Dacascos should have been in a big A list film ages ago.

Here’s an interesting fact about this film. It’s reported that Jet Li approached director Zhang Yimou and basically said, “If you want the best fight you can possibly get, you need to bring Donnie Yen on board.” Jet Li had only starred in one film with Donnie, “Once Upon a Time in China II,” but it is on record that Donnie has said that Jet Li is his favourite person to fight on screen. The respect between these two is massive. And once Donnie was brought onto “Hero” the two ended up in what is, in my opinion, one of the greatest weapon fights of all time.
A fantastic shot of Yuen Woo Ping choreographing Zhang Ziyi and Michelle Yeoh’s fight in “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.”

The guy on the right is Vlad Rimburg and, right now, he (in my opinion) might be the best fight choreographer in the world. If you check out his YouTube channel, you will find some absolute magic. For me, what makes him extra special is that he’s a chunky dude. He’s not your normal svelte type. He rarely actually films himself in front of the camera but, when he does, he moves with speed and power. He’s a fantastic on screen fighter and, dare I say, a true influence to me. i know Sammo Hung did the whole “husky choreographer” thing first, but it’s nice to see someone else rock the bigger guy look and produce such amazing work.
Jackie Chan manning the camera for “Dragon Lord”.
