AS OF MARCH 28, 2017, THE DEMO IS UPDATED TO V0.7.0.1!

There are a LOT of updates in this. Both the big 1.5+ year update as well as another update on that. Hiatus is over, and we're back in gear :) The new demo has a changelog option in the main menu and spots to access all of the Gen 0-related Social Media pages; you can always stay connected!

Please update the demo and give feedback on it and bug reports :)

is the main storyline of the game complete? i've been waiting to try this game out since i saw someone review it on youtube. i finally have a laptop and downloading agathas story now, but was making sure the story is complete :) can't wait to try it out!!

Hey there!!! :)No, the main story isn’t complete. However, we do have the general story mapped out until that point. But I do open development. So as I make the game, you guys know of the progress.

Please keep in mind even games like Owl Boy took 9+ years to make. This isn’t something that happens quickly! But development is happening :)

What emulator do you recommend when the pub demo drops

Well I have no idea what ‘the pub demo’ is, and I don’t know what emulator it is for.

Hey, Big fan of the Alpha game. Its a brilliant reinterpretation of Pokemon made accessible for adults. I loved the side quests and the fact that the difficulty is turned up. The animations and characters make this the best Pokemon game I have played, I hope you continue to make it. Now to my question, will you be able to move the save files from the demos to the finished game?

Some demos allow for saves to carry over, but not many. With this being an Alpha, the coding itself in the game can majorly change and screw with files. Not to worry, though, I include whether you should re-start in the download page itself. I’ll delineate that in the next update, too.

But yeah. You’ll need to re-start. It’s been a lot of work. ;)

So, I will be getting more active on here now in general. I'm still taking a semi-hiatus, as I'll give omre information on with the notes I made from FB. But yeah. Heya :) Thanks! Just so long as you know that Gen 0 is NOT a rom hack, we’re all good :p

For a regular Game Boy and like GBA, your best bet would be Visual Boy Advance. Otherwise, if you want like GBA/DS, look for no$gba. Otherwise known as ‘nocash emulator’.

Emuparadise, emulator zone and coolroms are good sites for roms and emus.

I usually do people or Pokemon sprites, but I could try buildings, assuming that they just give kind of an illusion of 3D, but I'd need to know what to do exactly. What are you looking for specifically?

I’m looking for buildings in the HG/SS style in that level of detail. If you type up Pokemon HG/SS tileset, you’ll find a good range of public use gen 4 tiles. Also, you can look at screenshots and stuff in my game here.
