tim.exe is not working

let’s start from the beginning... 

he first discovered dick grayson back during his circus days, getting to meet the graysons and have a picture taken at a very young age- he was captivated immediately by dick’s acrobatic abilities. 

flash forward to when the original robin was debuted, tim started to piece together that dick grayson was actually robin, closely researching and following along the duo from a distance - aka a fanboy, basically. 

as they all grow up and robin changes to someone else, tim deduces that dick goes on to be the new superhero nightwing- he’s still following batman & robin closely- which means when jason todd dies, tim starts to notice the decline in bruce’s work without a robin. 

he hunts down nightwing and tries to convince him to go back to bruce, when dick refuses, tim wrestles with the idea before deciding if no one else will do it, then he’ll become the robin that batman needs. 

after some initial setback from both dick and bruce, tim eventually proves himself worthy to become robin. robin shenanigans ensue. 

at thirteen, his parents are kidnapped by obedah and his mother is killed and his father is comatose. eventually, his father recovers from the coma but tim never truly forgets losing his mother. 

more shenanigans, including the formation of young justice. they easily become tim’s family, his best friends and when it eventually gets out that batman had kept files on all the JL members, his friends’ sudden distrust of him hurts and after his return, no longer as the leader, it still hurts. when they disband, he floats for awhile, briefly working with the teen titans. 

 shortly after young justice disbands, tim’s father is murdered by captain boomerang, and tim’s world is upturned again. he rejects bruce’s initial adoption offer, running away to try and figure out who he is anymore. 

tim returns to gotham,  during this time period he remains close to his teammates, young justice & teen titans alike, his best friend kon and him are working closely. 

kon dies in front of tim and his world is shattered again. after kon’s death, bruce re-extends the offer of adoption and tim accepts this time. he changes his costume, choosing black and red and when asked says it’s to honor his best friend. 

shortly after kon dies, batman is presumed dead and tim refuses to believe it, knowing in his gut that bruce isn’t dead but instead out there in the world. however, no one believes him and he fights with dick over why dick would choose damian to be robin over him. shattered and lost in his own identity, tim flees gotham, trying to find bruce while also trying to cope with a world where kon and bruce are no longer in it and he can’t trust dick. 

batman comes back, tim makes up with dick and everything is righted in the world for tim again. however, he takes on a new mantle- RED ROBIN, still choosing to wear his best friend’s colors. focusing on making those who have died proud of him. 

this is getting too long, so let’s speed it up. 

he keeps gotham on lock for the past few years, when the universes mesh he is Shook but he trust mutants- they remind him of the meta humans he’s spent his whole life around.
