                             of  all  the  things  to  be  racing  through  his  mind  ,  potential  regrets  ,  apologies  ,  concerns  ,  explanations  both  to  his  friends  and  the  near  stranger  silently  sitting  beside  him  ,  all  he  could  do  was  mentally  try  to  imagine  if  he  looked  as  badass  as  he  felt  the  moment  his  now  pounding  fist  slammed  against  the  other’s  jaw  .  a  satisfying  feeling  to  watch  them  fall  to  the  ground  ,  finally  shut  the  fuck  up  ,  but  the  aching  that  was  left  was  something  he  forgot  was  an  outcome  until  now  .

            yes  .  he  is   heavily  infatuated  over  a  meek  little  geek  .  the  one  who  always  looks  at  everyone  with  such  tender  gaze  and  enticing  smile  .  will  he   ever  admit  to  it  ?  of  course  not  .  often  , he  makes fun  of  the  other  because  that’s  the  safest  way  he  can  get  his  attention  .  the  only  way  he  can   make  the other  look  at  him  without  raising  any  suspicion  or  be  restlessly  tease  about  it  by  his  so  called  friends  . he  tries  his  best  to  look  away  when  some  other  assholes  picks  on  the  other  .  he  doesn’t  know  what  possessed  him  today  that  made  him  bolt  up  of  his  seat  to  defend  the  other  .  he’s  not  the  one  to  be  involve  in  physical   fights  .  he  values  his  face  too  much  to  put  it  at  risk  but  his  temper  got  the  best of  him  .  more  often  than  not  his  fights  are  often  verbal  and  it  always  ends  with  a  threat  .  today  he  woke  up  not  knowing  that  he’d  find  himself  in  a  fist   fight  for  a  guy  who  probably  hates  his  guts  .  if  he  knew , he   would’ve   worn  his  least  favorite  sweater  .  when  the  other  finally  backed  down  .  he  looked  down  at  the  other  .  a  scoff  passes  his  lips  . despite  everything ,  they  still  look  like  a  lost  little  kitten  .          he  grabs  the  other  by  collar  of  their  shirt  and  drag  them  somewhere  more  private  .  “  what  the  fuck  is  wrong  with  you  ?!   ”  he  pushes  the  other  .  “  why  do  you  let  everyone  treat  you  like  shit  ?  don’t  get me  wrong  .  i  find  it  cute  sometimes   ”   he   reevaluates  .  “  okay  all  the  time  but  you  can’t  let  anyone  do  that   shit  to  you  .  only  i  can  do  that  to  you  ….   ”  the  scowl  look  on  his  face  turns  to  a  pout  .  “  you  get that  ?  no  one  gets  to  make  fun  of  you  other  than  me  .  now  my  sweater  is  all  stretch  out  because  of  you  .  you  owe  me  a  new one  .  ”

                                 “  what  ?!?  “  he  stumbles  back  ,  wondering  if  there  was  some  memo  he  missed  where  asmo  had  decided  to  care  about  him  ,  still  at  a  loss  of  words  from  everything  that  he  just  witnessed  .  “  you’re  .  .  .  “  he’s  speechless  ,  mouth  agape .  thrown  for  so  many  loops  all  he  can  do  is  stare  .  “  i  think  you’ve  actually  -  like  ,  you’re  confused  or  drunk  or  you  took  some  kind  of  drug   and  you  don’t  know  who  i  am .  i’m  yogi  bae  ,  “  he  emphasizes  ,  gesturing  to  himself .  “  since  when  did  you  care  about  other  people  being  mean  to  me  ?  ‘cause  ,  like  ,  if  you’re  gonna  punch  everyone  who  says  mean  stuff  to  me  ,  you’re  gonna  have  a  line  .  including  a  sixty-five  year  old  lady  .  you  gonna  punch  an  old  lady  ?  “  probably  something  yogi  would  laugh  at  if  he  weren’t  still  buried  in  his  own  ignorance  .  “  i  didn’t  ask  you  to  fight  because  of  me  ,  you  know  .  i  don’t  want  any  fights  ,  that’s  why  i  never  fight  back  .  how’s  it  fair  you  did  something  by  choice  and  i gotta  get  you  a  new  sweater  ?  . . .  i  just  wanted  to  have  fun  at  a  party an’  you’re  throwing  hands  at  people .  maybe  he’s  going  through  something  and  being  mean  to  me  makes  him  feel  better  ?  like  ,  he’s  coping  .  i  get  it  ,  it  probably  helps  him  .  just  like  you  being  mean  probably  helps  you  ,  right  ?
