I come from the roleplay scene, and because of that I always tend to give "faces" to characters. I roleplayed as Toris for, oh God, eight years. Basically the length of my relationship with my husband.
Toris's face for me has always been him:
Ben Barnes! I know that he's super used in the HP fandom but for me the man Is Toris.
There, maybe with lighter eyes, but Brown are cool too! When I roleplayed, everyone tended to see Toris as slender, while in my head he's always been a man of a certain build. I'm glad I turned out to be right in the long run, AH-AH.
As for Gilbert, though........

In Lithuanian mythology, GiltinΔ is the goddess of death but also the patroness of healers; while she is cruel and unforgiving I really hold dear the idea that she considers Toris her strange immortal son/friend and refuses to impart him with her poisonous seal of eternal death by pressing her tongue to his cheek. However, as I tried to illustrate here, there are times when she can no longer bear to see his anguish and gives him a kiss to put him out of his misery. If anyone is familiar with @viltismanedar , @naszczescie, or my headcanons regarding the short hair it was cropped in the late years of WWII either around or during the time of his capture by the NKVD.
