Beloved New Zealand actor Sam Neill has died suddenly aged 78.
Best known for his roles in the 'Jurassic Park' franchise, 'The Piano', 'Peaky Blinders' and 'Event Horizon', Neill passed away in Sydney surrounded by family, who said he remained cancer-free and "passed with the dignity that has characterised his whole life".
Damn, we lost another one! RIP Sam Neill, aka Dr. Alan Grant, aka John Trent, aka Merlin, aka a whole lot of other roles.

On July 8, 1973, Led Zeppelin's fifth studio album, Houses of the Holy, reached number one on the charts in both the United States and the United Kingdom. The album remained on the US charts for a total of 39 weeks.
Houses of the Holy marked a turning point for the band. Instead of their usual dark and heavy blues-rock, they incorporated brighter guitar tones and experimented with new genres such as reggae and funk.

Bonnie has been in the hospital in Portugal (where she has a home) for a few months now. She went in for an intestinal surgery that went very wrong. She had recently come out of a coma and passed away (quite unexpectedly) last night (7/9).
RIP Bonnie Tyler, whose voice soundtracked so many Gen-X dances and at least one lifelong fear of slow songs in school gyms.

On July 7, 1980, in West Berlin, the greatest drummer of all time, John Bonham, would play his last concert. He left this world, becoming an immortal in the history of rock. Led Zeppelin became an absolute legend. With the death of the greatest drummer in rock history, the Lead Bird of Led Zeppelin ceased to fly. Rest in peace 😢 the best drummer of all time, John Henry Bonham.

Lou Costello died of a heart attack on March 3, 1959, just three days before his 53rd birthday. Bud Abbott, who lost nearly everything, suffered a series of strokes and was living on $180 a month in Social Security before cancer took him on April 24, 1974. R.I.P. to comedy's greatest duo.
