in a way it is very funny how stupid people get really angry about the concept of lesbianism because they themselves aren't one. "This word doesn't reflect the fluidity of my sexuality!" ok well don't use it if it doesn't describe you?

i sometimes see videos of digital artists being like "here's a tip on how to draw x thing faster!" and it's like, tracing over stock images or free 3D assets from the clip studio store. and the comments are filled with people saying "no that's cheating!!" can we be so real with ourselves for just one second. how is this cheating. it's not a competition. nobody is getting an award. i don't care if Samantha the digital artist traced a png of a chessboard instead of freehanding it—i see no reason for her to work harder arbitrarily for the same exact outcome

Have you guys noticed how much the internet/technology just does not listen to you anymore? I click “don’t show this artist” on Spotify and I get recommended a music video by them on the front page. I click “skip this update” on a pop up every time I open a file organization app and it’s right back there every time. I click unsubscribe on a newsletter and it keeps showing up in my inbox!! I click “delete my account” and the next time I open the website they suggest I “reactivate”.

just a reminder to everyone that lesbian friendships are very important, and while finding a partner is obviously a good thing, building a lesbian friend group is one of the best things you can do

my corner store guy is a 50 year old man who's my best friend in the world and recently he was like "you're too pretty to be single I have some nephews you should meet. very handsome!" and I was like "a niece might be more up my alley" and he just got more excited and said "ah even better! is this a safe space to say that the additions to the LGBT flag (“progress flag”) are well meaning but undermine the fact that the original colors symbolized vague concepts that could apply to anyone, rather than signifying specific types of human beings, which is, ironically, more “exclusionary” since it begs the question of why “X specific group of humans” aren’t being represented in the imagery now. the original flag completely avoided that conundrum. also it’s a little ugly. But don’t mind me lol.
