It was so hard trying to build the puzzle of these confusing feelings. He was no longer the same person, sure he’s able to act the same around his coworkers but in private he’s just some nervous wreck. Especially with Inner’s straight forwardness about their… preference. He couldn’t avoid Inner they sleep in the same bed after all. Oh how nice it is to feel his warmth every night. Being able to fight alongside the version of himself he loves. That’s what’s confusing he loves Inner. More than any normal person would love the literal personification of their missing personality.

Though I guess he’s never been normal especially after all the murder and manipulation he’s done to get this far. Sometimes he wishes Inner would use his- no their jinki on him. It’s so wrong. Inner is such a tease about it. They’ve never been one to shy away from flirting with Cleaner though they currently only do it in private per request. They like getting close, hugging from behind and letting their hands explore a bit. The flush on Cleaner’s face just gets them so excited. They might even try a quick bite on the neck before Cleaner pushes them away, tripping over his own words from embarrassment. Inner just can’t stop that shit eating grin as they think how worth it their attempt was.

The split was never part of their plan though it’s somehow made it so much more enjoyable. Fantasies? They have plenty of them. Those quick glances as they imagine how Cleaner would look under them with those pure white and gold untainted clothes. The way Cleaner looks so ethereal in the sphereite robes makes it feel like they have their own personal angel. Especially right now that they’re alone in their shared room, the moonlight perfectly hitting his beautiful eyes. It’s already late as Inner patiently stands next to the bed waiting for Cleaner to finish tying his hair.

“You look beautiful, you know that?” Cleaner doesn’t turn around but they can tell there’s a slight blush on his face “You always say that.” He turns to face Inner. The gentle and loving smile on their face gives him this warm feeling in his chest. “Well because it’s true Ribbons. That face is just so irresistible.” That smile that was oh so gentle turns into a more mischievous one. Cleaner looks away slightly, the compliment definitely getting to his head by now.

He feels Inner gently grab his waist and guide him towards the edge of their shared bed. Cleaner stands in between Inners slightly parted legs as they caress his thighs and waist. “Let me worship you. I promise you’ll love it Ribbons.”

Cleaner pulls away Inner’s hands slightly face flushed with something similar to shame hidden under. “We really shouldn't Inner. We're the same person it would be so shameful. Think about what others would think.” Inners expression softens as they pull Cleaner into a gentle hug. “It’s not like we have to tell them. This can stay hidden between us… and we both know I’m good at hiding stuff.”

“I hate how right you are. Don’t you dare tell anyone or I’ll come after your head.” Before Inner could make any remarks Cleaner pushes them back on the bed.
