slimy toad merchant

"I hope you are still trying to complete your mission."

The sound of footsteps coming closer made the merchant perk his head upward in interest, eyes widening slightly despite the fact that his facial features were concealed by a mask. He wasn’t entirely sure what could bring his purifying friend in the area but he certainly wasn’t going to doubt his presence; any company was good, especially since he often roamed about on his own. Instead of getting up from his seat, the frenchman chose to remain still, simply waiting until the Batter was within sight. “Bonjour.” He said in a careless manner, his fingers lacing together habitually as he eyed the other. “What brings you around here, my fellow humanoid? Are you interested in buying any new weapons?” 

Stumbling upon Zacharie was unfavorable, but to finally have some company was a relief. He was running low on supplies, anyhow. "Oui," he responded without a greeting. "I need some fortune tickets, jokers, and a new bat." He got straight to the point, watching the merchant closely.

"Haha, hello to all of you! I didn’t expect so many people to come and see me. Well my name is Beck! Care to tell me who you are?"
