I can type things into replies, but it won’t actually post them.

All my likes, reblogs, and replies are hidden from the notes of EVERY post.

When I like or rb things it doesn’t show notes in someone’s activity / dash, except long-time followers (not sure about the exact cutoff/conditions).

If I reblogged and added something to this from a non-follower they wouldn’t even know. Check and see: my rb’s don’t even show up in the notes. So people couldn’t even find out I added something on by checking the notes either:

Not to mention: I’m hidden from all searches, can’t be @’d, past @’s of me are hidden from my notes, I don’t get notified when people reply to a post I replied to, my @’s don’t give notes, and every search on my blog is blanked. I can’t even ask/submit to myself even with anons, and lots more.

What will happen

Images of real-life nudity will be flagged

Flagged posts will be only viewable by the poster and nobody else

Flagged posts can be appealed and fixed if done so by mistake

Tumblr blocked the tag “chronic pain” in this mess for no reason

They’re flagging commonly used tags by queer people, sex educators, and artists who make their fucking LIVING on tumblr

They’re gonna take down genuine sex workers because they didn’t curb the problem with spamming porn bots YEARS ago when tumblr users REPORTED OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND *OVER* that it was a problem

Tumblr IGNORED the bots, IGNORED the problems, and honestly treated it like NOTHING until their app was taken off a store due to it.

They’re fucking over a shit-ton of REAL PEOPLE who rely on tumblr for community and/or income because they ignored users’ complaints about shitty porn bots for YEARS until it had financial consequences

I can no longer even talk about chronic pain without the post being blocked from searches

I have drawn one or two nude pieces on my art tumblr which is 99% safe for work but now I’m worried the blog will be taken down entirely because Tumblr won’t bother differentiating between spam and REAL PEOPLE just trying to live their goddamn lives

And god forbid I want to talk about bisexuality or sex or kink in just… MY LIFE. As a normal-ass human being who just wants to TALK ABOUT HUMAN THINGS

No, their solution to nuke a problem they’ve ignored for years is to take us all down at once

So maybe don’t laugh about “oh no not my pornz” because 1. plenty of that ~porn~ is made by actual humans making their living and 2. WAY MORE than “just porn” is being targeted

YOU HAVE 30 DAYS TO OPT OUT OF DISCORD’S NEW CLAUSE.

the clause basically states that you are unable to sue discord for for something like them selling or leaking your information. this doesn’t mean that they intend on selling or leaking your information, but IF something like that were to happen, this terms of service update will prevent you from suing them if you don’t opt out of it.

so basically, email [email protected] WITH THE EMAIL ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR DISCORD ACCOUNT within the next 30 days. if you don’t, you will not be able to sue discord should an information leak happen. an information leak could include your real name, payment info, and other account details.

i want to make it clear that THIS DOES NOT MEAN DISCORD IS ACTIVELY STEALING OR LEAKING YOUR INFO. they’re just letting us know that in the event of an information leakage, you will not be able to sue them unless you opt out of this within the next 30 days.

Easily. Its fiction, not reality. Yes these things might happen in reality but to be honest when I go out I don’t see a primordial evil dude standing on top of a building vowing to rule the world and then destroy it because he hates people or something. See, that’s the thing about fiction. It can contain realism or it can be entirely fantasy. To be frank, I don’t see people going after Marvel over the violence nor do I see them going after the Walking Dead or Silent Hill creators. I don’t see people who recognize movies or comics as fictional going after the writers and you shouldn’t be nailing me to the wall either. Recognizing something as fiction is inherent and recognizing that someone does not have to condone the actions taken in order to write it should be as well. 

I will write the most terrifying things out because it is substance, it is something that gives more to the story or it is important to the story. Its plot. I get it, we’re in an age where people are making progress in their sensitivity and understanding of others. People are actually winning some fights about that sensitivity and making others realize that its wrong or that something needs to change. That’s great, perfectly beautiful and I myself have been doing the same. However, people need to learn to separate fiction from reality. Just because I write a muse who would gladly stick bamboo chutes beneath someone’s nails or horrifically maim them does not mean that I am someone who would do that or that I would condone someone doing that in real life. 

We have always had this little “Mun =/= Muse” thing going on and it has always applied. So yes, I will write out violent affairs of varying kinds and no I do not condone it and you coming after me isn’t going to change that. All its going to do is make you look like a sjw lashing out over something ridiculous when you should be focusing on actual real world problems.
