Letter to Taylor.

I did something bad.

I got caught up in the moment and spent $860.25 CAD on Taylor Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour tickets. But, honestly, baby, who’s counting? Who’s counting? Umm, my empty bank account, Taylor, that’s who. Don’t forget to factor in the money that I’ll have to spend just to get to Toronto. This is why we can’t have nice things, honey.

Look what you made me do. I hope you know that I do bad things for you. I could’ve spent that money on a round trip to an all-inclusive resort in Cuba for that price. Taylor, you should think about the consequence of your magnetic field being a little too strong. Ugh, you’re so cool, it makes me hate you so much. You’ve ruined my life by not being mine because now I can’t afford to live. I feel like I might sink and drown in debt. I’m so furious at you for making me feel this way but what can I say? You’re gorgeous.

I have been waiting, waiting for years to see Taylor perform live in concert. I wanted to go to both her Red Tour and her 1989 Tour but didn’t have the money. Honestly, I’ve never gone to any concerts since I’ve always said that my first concert would be Taylor’s. Tay, you should take it as a compliment.

Deep down, I know that all of this silence and patience, pining in anticipation will be worth it. I was so nervous about not being able to get any tickets to see her show. Ticketmaster’s Taylor Swift Tix false advertising seriously gave me anxiety. Call it what you want, yeah, call it what you want to just don’t call Standard ticket prices USD$49.50 to USD249.50. Hahaha I can’t even say it with a straight face! And please don’t call it a stress-free experience. I don’t like your little games. Thankfully I got my code on within the timeframe they promised.

And I’d do it over and over and over again if I could. I’d buy ridiculously expensive tickets to see Taylor Swift any day. Please don’t blame me, love made me crazy for Taylor. If your love for TSwift doesn’t make you at least a little bit insane than you ain’t doing it right. For her, I would cross the line, I would waste my money I would lose my mind. They say that I’ve gone too far this time. But Taylor, for you, I would fall from grace just to touch your face ‘cause I like you. For all your beautiful traits and the way, you do it with ease. It’s like your eyes are liquor, it’s like your body is gold. I pretend you’re mine, all the damn time. You’re all I want, I’ll never let you go, you are the one I have been waiting for. I love you in spite of the fact that your merch and tickets are super pricey. ‘Cause its gravity. And I will hold on to you.

Then why’s it feel so good? Why’s spending CAD $860.50+ on one evening feel so good? Because I’ve loved Taylor Swift for the past 8 years –and counting. Taylor’s words of wisdom and music have helped me get through the toughest times of my life. For all my flaws, paranoia, and insecurities there’s a Swift song to cheer me up. So, here’s the truth from my red lips. Despite never having been noticed by Taylor I feel as though somehow even in my worst times she could see the best of me and even in my worse light, she saw the truth of me. Taylor has always known just what to say. Whether I was heartbroken or in love she’s always had a song filled with lyrics that I could relate to. She’s my lifeline, the reason I woke up just in time. Thanks to Taylor, I’m doing better than I ever was. I’m finally clean.

Enough with the heavy stuff! I’m pumped, I’m excited, I can’t wait to not only see Taylor for the first time but also attend my very first concert! Go ahead and light me up! I’m already planning my entire outfit for the event. shoes, hair, makeup, jewelry, nails, the works. I’m planning on looking on point for this. The only thing I know for sure is that I’ll be showing up with Taylor’s signature red lips and winged eyeliner that I’ve adopted as my own.

P.P.S. Look for me on Saturday, August 4th, 2018 at the Roger Center. I’ll be the girl having the time of her life screaming, crying in section 113AR (yes you read that correctly, 13), row 3, seat 12. My boyfriend got the 13th seat!
