"I milked 40 head up until a year ago." Do you miss the cows? "Sometimes. Sometimes I think about milking cows again, but their $1.75 lb.. thats crazy. My father farmed here and he bought it from my mothers uncle." Oh, so your a third generation farmer...And its been passed through the family.. "Yes, I guess you can say that." Pointing towards the back of the house & with a grin of reminiscence on his face, he says; "I was born in this house...I remember when the kitchen had a dirt floor with an old hand pump well that pumped into a trough. And we'd have to pump the water into a tub to get a bath.. all us kids." And then he chuckled a little.
