Oral surgery is NO JOKE! Look at my Jaw!!! The hard part isn't even the pain, it's the three day liquid diet that the got me on. I want BBQ Ribs, Pasta, Steak, Tacos. Anything but pureed soup and protein drinks.

Iron & Ink are my two favorite forms of therapy. I have been off and on with my fitness over the last couple of years, but at the beginning of this year I got on a scale just joking around and the result read 288lbs. SMH! I was crushed to say the least and every time I would look in the mirror after that was too painful to witness. How did I get that damn big? The answer is simple, I GOT LAZY!! There are no excuses for my behavior and the poor habits that lead up to my gaining of so much weight. Now as of today, I'm 37 pounds down and I'm a lot closer to my goal of 230lbs by my birthday in June. Ultimately my reasons for getting my ass back in the gym was to improve my health and to shape up my appearance to upgrade myself. Overall I felt that It was time to level up. I start out on the elliptical and do about a mile before every work out and hit the weights for about an hour and some days I'll do another mile as a cool down. I'm still in the break down of my body but the rebuild may be coming earlier than my June deadline. It feels good to be acquainted with the Iron again.
