Hello! Long time no see!
Itβs been almost a year since I last posted on this blog, and in this time Iβve gone back and forth a lot on whether to delete it or keep it up. Some of you may remember how incredibly critical I was of house of the dragon and how fundamentally unhappy I was with pretty much every choice the writers made lol. Wellβ¦ it goes without saying that I lost all interest in the series and decided to step away from fandom for a bit.
I still love ASOIAF and Ewan and the whole cast with all my heart, and I will absolutely keep following them and making gifs of them and their future projects, but I donβt really see the point in sticking around just to yap about how s3 will probably keep disappointing me and unintentionally suck the joy out of people who still love it.
That said, Iβve decided not to nuke this blog. There are hundreds of gifs I spent hours on (and some fics buried somewhere π) that youβre still free to enjoy and share.
I want to thank everyone who supported me and made me feel better when the real world wasβ¦ well, just a bit too much. I was lucky enough to have the best, funniest and most supportive moots on this hellsite! This isnβt a goodbye β my inbox and mutual support are always available on @phantom-threaded (or @reticent-vampire if youβre into gay vampires).
Iβm really, really grateful for everything youβve given me, and I wish health, happiness, and the very best in the world to each and every one of you (yes, even the haters. kill βem with kindness, as they say).
