Growing up near the Hindon Air Force Base, the largest Air Force station in Asia, meant that seeing a C-17 Globemaster flying overhead was an everyday part of life. I'd watch them fly by at least five times a day. It wasn't until I saw how amazed people are by the sight of one that I realized how privileged I was to have considered it completely routine.
