My amazing mom and I painstakingly restored these vintage metal cabinets in my house. I did a lot of the initial prep work and she did a lot of the final painting. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. After a lot of research, I used an enamel paint with a lint free roller that worked very well. Each coat required 24 hours to dry.

2018 was my first year teaching at Django In June. My classes were packed and energizing. I'll definitely include handouts next time I teach these classes to help organize the lesson. This was the scene at our last Django Jazz Night on Monday. An incredible crowd filled the Belgian Beer Bar in Hampden. There were even some amazing dancers who moved gracefully throughout the space.
