Ballum-Highway

I really do hope Max is making a permanent return in 2026. He's such an amazing actor. His short return stint eps were the best. He really does bring so much emotion and nuance to Ben. And tbh, I'm completely checked out of the Callum/Johnny sl. It's so boring and feels like Tony especially is just going through the motions.

Not Ballum related, but insomnia is the worst. Not only do you struggle to fall asleep, but the little sleep you do get isn't restful in the slightest.

I've tried to keep quiet and grit my teeth until Ben returns, but it's such lazy ass writing to resort to cheating. There are a myriad of other ways to portray the tension, loneliness, etc, that comes with Ben being imprisoned in another country and having to have a long distance marriage. Or if they wanted Callum and Johnny together, then separate Ballum temporarily and let the angst and longing when Ben returns play out. It's such a cop out to just resort to cheating, especially when it's so out of character for Callum. I'm just tired EE, do better!!
