-THAT SCENE OF HIM BEATING UP THE GOKAIGERS FROM THE FINAL LIVE

during the summer i had a minor spat with the creator of this kamen rider w fanfic, and i will admit that it MIGHTVE been my bad. but we're not here to talk about that. in my ask i said me and some friends only read the first ten chapters, and we just happen to reread those chapters lately. AND ITS SO MUCH WORSE THAN BEFORE. aside from the fic flip-flopping between waiting shotaro to be hard-boiled and wanting him to learn the same lesson he did in the show,

the writers weird and CLEAR dislike of akiko,

and overall bad writing and handling of the characters which i dont feel like sharing. the worst part of this fic is how shotaro and philip relationship is written.

now, this is nothing against people who ship the two. do whatever you want; my only issue comes from people who create a strange age gap between the two as philip has a canon age and shotaro doesnt, so dont go making shotaro a grown-ass man and have him date a very seventeen phil and if you do...get the fuck off my page before i block you😂✌

anyways, philip age seems to be unknown like in the actual show up to that point. however, just in ten chapters, he and shotaro had have sex more than once while shotaro is confirmed to be twenty-four.

the topic is mostly gazed over by the fic until shotaro says this line to philip or at least that what im assuming happens.

either way, i hope you all know how much of a read flag the phrase 'age is just a number' is. mostly as a way to normalize grooming in relationships. again, many times before and AFTER this these two will have sex and say sexual things to each other.

this only gets worse with the way philip is written. he often switches from intense moods of horniess towards shotaro to wanting cuddled by him the next. while philip in the show is already stunted emotionally due to his backstory it feels like its worse in this fic and with how often sex is had in it, really fucking weird.

AND THE FIC NEVER QUESTIONS OR PUSHES BACK ON ANY OF THIS, IN FACT THIS IS ALL PERFECTLY NORMAL. this line is dropped and they all move on

now; i shouldnt have to explain why showing a relationship like this as totally normal is a bad thing, right? you all understand how a relationship between someone as child-like as philip and someone like shotaro isn't healthy, right?

we can all see that somebody like philip can easily be groomed and abused in a relationship like this and we can all see why framing it like its normal is bad, right? i don't have to explain this?

i cannot believe how popular and well-like this fic is when it has stuff like this in it..it's a little insane to think about how many people mustve turned a blind eye to this kinda gross quote or just didnt care that they were there.
