Walking over to the young girl out of boredom, Chopper's bored expression turned to a gleeful grin. Rushing over to her, he finally stopped in front of the girl, reaching his hoof out to poke her leg and get her attention. "Excuse me!" He called out joyously, hoping to make a new friend.
Machiko turned around at the happy sounding voice. How disgusting. She needed to get rid of that quickly. âWhat?â She said snappishly and glared at the littleâŚcreature? What is that anyway? âWell, tell me what you want to say and leave.â Machiko didnât want to spend any more time with this thing than she had to. She already had the other Bad End Precure to fill her quota of weird and annoying things.
How strange it was that Chopper grew so attached to her feigned personality. He was truly desperate for companionship before she came along. Of course, the boy might be smarter than he appeared. Whose to say that, aside from some anger and trauma, he wouldnât be able to defend himself from her. Perhaps if she truly planned on using him to wipe out her enemies, thus his potential allies after her betrayal, she could very well be on top of the world.
Pulling back from hugging her, Chopper smirked playfully and gazed into her eyes. âI won now! You owe meâŚâ Chopper reached his scrawny arms forward yet again, but didnât initiate the hug, instead figuring that it might be nice to let her give him a hug this time. âYou have to give me the biggest, bestest hug ever! Hurry up!âÂ
A hug? Machiko almost shuddered in horror. This couldn't get any worse. It was one thing to have it happen to her but to actually give something that made other people happy was the worst thing ever, with no comparison. But, if she was to use him in her revenge she would have to do it. Forcing a smile back onto her face she quickly decided to agree to it. "Well, if you say so. But that doesn't seem like such a bad thing!" She said, lying through her teeth.Â
Machiko took a deep breath, preparing herself for this. She hoped that she didn't mess up and break her character. That would be disastrous. She was in such a vulnerable position, after all. "Okay then, here comes the best hug in the world!" She beamed, pulling him into a hug. She had no idea what hugs were meant to be like, but tried not to hold him too tightly. Hurting him would probably also bring an end to her plans. Hoping that her hug had been to his standards, she let go of him and pulled back. "So, how was that?" She questioned cheerily.

Chopper could only smile wider as he sat atop her, his hooves on her shoulders. Gazing into her eyes, he felt overjoyed at the mereconcept of having a guardian angel. He couldnât guess that she was some sort of devil instead. She was a brilliant actor, and when the time came for Chopper to assist him, the boy was likely to do whatever she said. He was naive, and while intelligent, he was extremely gullible. These aspects were more than enough to insure that Chopper was her pawn.
"Hehe! Happy-chan, youâll protect me then!? Thatâs awesome! HoweverâŚ" Suddenly, the boyâs scrawny arms wrapped around her back, pulling the girl closer to his soft, warm body in order to give her a hug. "Iâve got you!" He shouted playfully, as though the show of affection was his way of kidnapping the girl in their little pillow fight game. "Hehe! Now thereâs no escape~!"
Machiko let him stay on top of her. It was much easier to see just how close he was to being completely ensnared by her lies. Surely it wouldn't be much longer until she could drop this sickening façade and get her revenge. Machiko only hoped this would all end quickly. All of this acting was starting to exhaust her. She made a note to herself to call in sick to the school. She couldn't take much more of this and more acting would only make things worse.
She grinned after being broken from her thoughts by Chopper. "Yeah! I'd love to protect you, Chopper-kun!" How wrong this was. The only thing Chopper needed protecting from was Machiko herself. He must have had no idea what she had in store for him. She giggled at the thought before remembering that she was meant to be acting. Thankfully, the hug that he gave her could be used as an excuse for this. "Oh no!" She laughed. "You've got me! Now what will I do?"

The way that she took his hit so easily made Chopper somewhat surprised. It wasnât that she was unharmed, after all, it was just a pillow. It was the fact that she let herself get hit when she could have dodged it. Wasnât the whole point of this to make sure that you didnât get hit by the pillow. âHehe! You suck at this, donât you Happy-chan?â He asked in a somewhat playful voice, teasing the apparently sweet girl as much as she loved to tease and hurt him.
After she swung a pillow at him, Chopper used his enhanced reflexes to duck his head down, easily avoiding the strike. After doing that, the boy lunged forward without a pillow, playfully giggling at the girl as he tackled her down into the stack of pillows to cushion their fall. âHehe! Grr! Youâre tougher than I thought! Maybe youâd make a good guardian angel for me, Happy-chan!â
Oh? He was teasing her now? She could live with that, she guessed. It wasn't as though she could get offended by something like that, as though she actually cared what he thought about her. Despite this, she giggled at his teasing. "Yeah, I guess I do." But then she mockingly pouted. "Oh, you're so mean though, being so hard against a beginner like me. Maybe I should get you back for that." She said, laughing by the end.Â
Interesting. It seemed his reflexes were better than she expected. Machiko would have to remember that for when she enacted her revenge. As he lunged forward, she remembered that her pillow was now no longer poised to attack. So a counterstrike clearly wasn't possible. Machiko decided that dodging would be pointless, so allowed herself to be tackled into the pillows. "Me? Your guardian angel? Aw, that's so nice of you, Chopper-kun! If you want me to be then, sure, why not?" She grinned. As though she would ever want to protect anyone, especially Chopper. Even just the thought of her being an angel of any kind was laughable.Â
"All this niceness is boring. I should go and make someone sad."

Once the girl started to mention a pillow fight, Chopperâs eyes were wide and sparkling with joy. A pillow fight!? Right now!? Oh god, it had been ages since the last time he was granted such a privilege. âIf I win, you have to stay with me for a whole week!â He shouted out excitedly, grabbing a pillow with his little hooves before pulling it over to his stomach, getting ready for this.
She looked so scrawny and weak. Perhaps a better term was beautiful and slender, but regardless, she didnât seem like sheâd be able to put up much of a decent fight. Chopper decided to hold back as he swung the pillow at his newly found friendâs head, a task made difficult by the size difference between the two.
Clearly he took the bait. But a week? Would she be able to handle that? With the happiness he felt now, she already felt sickened. A whole week seemed completely unbearable. But, she had to. For the sake of her revenge. Sighing a little, she forced herself to grin wider. "A whole week? Is that meant to be a punishment?" She teased, winking at him. "Okay then. But if I win, you've got to help me out with a little favour, okay?" She allowed her smile to fall into a more natural seeming one. Now all she needed to do was win this and she would be able to exact her revenge, if he accepted her terms that is.
Machiko watched as he swung the pillow at her. Despite the fact that she could have easily dodged it, enhanced by the height difference, she allowed the pillow to hit her and made herself fall into the other pillows. "Oh, you got me!" She giggled. "My turn now!" She said and swung the pillow at him, although she held back a little. With her strength, she would have pushed him through the walls of the tent and into a tree and clearly the plan would fail then.
â
"H-Hey what are you doing Happy!?" The rabbit yelled as she found her self on the bad endâs shoulder. "Whatâs with that outfit and why are you carrying me?"
"Hurry? Well ok then." Saya said as the crystal shattered to show her in her costume.
"Soul full of hope." She then ran towards Machiko, and stopped right in front of her as her eyes turned silver. "The maskless rider." Drawing her fist back, she threw it forward in a punch. "Cure Sorceress."
The girl was a cure. She should have known. They were everywhere now, you couldn't get rid of them. Like a cold.Â
Machiko didn't move, allowing the girl to throw her punch. She needed to know how strong her opponent was. As it connected she fell backwards, narrowly stopping herself from hitting the ground. It seems she had entirely underestimated the girl. Putting her hands back into a heart shape, she attacked. "Bad End Shower!" She yelled, as the burst of energy threatened to knock her off her feet.
It was hard for Tsubasa to describe the feeling she got from other peopleâs happiness. Even if she could, it was highly unlikely the other girl would understand.
"Even if I donât get anything in return, I like making people happy," she said.
"Seriously?" She questioned. How could anyone enjoy that kind of thing? "How could that make you feel happy? The entire idea of it is just...it's just awful!"Â
Machiko's hands clenched into fists. This girl was just like Cure Happy. She hated her already. Anyone that got happiness from other people was not someone she could ever get along with.
((oh my god could you imagine machiko as a mother? that would be a complete disaster))

Chopper couldnât stop feeling as though she had a motherly air about her. The way she acted as though she was happy to be with him was so admirable. Of course, she was probably right about betraying him. Chopper believed in her with all of his being, so once he was betrayed, it was likely to leave a hole in his heart wide enough to keep him depressed for a while. She was so sweet to him. It seemed like they were meant to be best friends for the rest of time.
"Fun things?! Of course I do!" He squealed out before pointing at a huge pile of pillows in the corner of the tent, zipping the entrance of the tent back up in order to prevent any bugs or rats from getting in. "We can roll around on the pillow pile!" He squealed out excitedly. "We can wrestle on it, have a pillow fight, or just take turns diving into it!" Clearly, his idea of fun was rather childish, but that was part of what made him such a joy to be around for most people.
Machiko had assumed that the pillows weren't there for sleeping. It seemed like he was quite childish and she had just been proved right. This wasn't the sort of thing she would ever want to do willingly, mostly because it was the kind of thing that brought others happiness, but she would just have to give up a little bit of her dignity and force herself through it.Â
Picking up a pillow from the pile, she grinned and pulled it up above her head. "What about a pillow fight, then? I don't think I've ever done that before." She said, shaking the pillow teasingly. "I bet you that I'll win." She challenged him, hoping he would take the bait and accept the fight. It was the closest she would get to actually hurting him for a while and she was going to take advantage of that.

âWhatâs wrong with them cheering up?â Tsubasa asked. She was confused. Who was Cure Happy? She hadnât seen her on the news.
"There's just no point in it. I mean, what do you get out of it?" She asked, exasperated. This girl just wouldn't give up. "It's much better to make yourself feel good first and putting others first just doesn't do this. It's not like they would ever do the same."Â
((someone come mess with machiko))
â
"H-Hey what are you doing Happy!?" The rabbit yelled as she found her self on the bad endâs shoulder. "Whatâs with that outfit and why are you carrying me?"
"One moment." Saya said as she put a diamond helmet shaped ring on her left hand causing her eyes to flash multiple colors. "Henshin." Passing the ring over her belt, a magic circle formed and passed over body encasing her in crystals.
Machiko tapped her foot impatiently. How dare this girl delay her own defeat? Although Machiko had to admit it was interesting to see the transformation. Was this what she also looked like? No, she couldn't possibly look that ridiculous. Could she? "Well, hurry up then." She snapped.

Chopper giggled at her reply to his nickname for her. He had seen a lot of anime and read a lot of manga, and the only name longer than the one she gave him was probably End of the World from Revolutionary Girl Utena. Anyone with a name that was more than six syllables needed a nickname to keep Chopper from feeling confused and forgetting who was who every five seconds or so.
Her warm smile was beautiful, even if it was faked. Not realizing that she thrived off of the despair and misery of others, Chopper could only smile wider and sit next to a huge fort of pillows, which he had childishly prepared for himself to dive into whenever he got bored. Being alone could make Chopper desperate for anything resembling fun. âSo then, how long can you stay with me?â He asked excitedly. Had Chopperâs smile ever looked so dazzling?
Machiko grinned at his giggle. The happier he felt, the easier it would be to get him on his side. Then once she betrayed him and stole his power for herself, the despair he felt would be so much more potent. What fun that was going to be. She almost couldn't wait. But, unfortunately, she had to. No matter how good it would feel to see him in despair, it would completely ruin her plan to destroy Cure Happy and finally get the revenge she craved so much.Â
Sitting down beside him, she smiled wider and giggled. "I can stay as long as you want. It isn't as though I ever really go to school or anything so I don't have anything that I need to leave for." Although, Machiko did want this to be over as quickly as possible. But that couldn't happen. She could do this if it was for the sake of her revenge. She would do anything for that. "So, anyway, what do you want to do then? Â I bet you know lots of fun things to do!"

It could be thought of as strange, but Chopper genuinely found Bad End Happy to be downright charming. She should have been the type of woman who always creeped Chopper out, and who he naturally distrusted and hated. Despite this, she made Chopper feel better with her company. Walking down the forest path, he kept humming joyously, as though to show off his happiness without any sort of shame or hesitation. This new friend of his was going to experience all of the joy that Chopper could possibly give her in this world.
Above all, the color of bliss brightened Chopperâs smile, erasing the exhaustion that should have worn out his gentle look. Stopping in front of a small, standard camping tent, the boy bent down, unzipping the entrance. âHere we are, Happy-chan!â He excitedly cooed, having already thought of a cute nickname since her real name was long. After crawling inside, Chopper took a seat in the middle of the tent floor, shouting out to her. âLeave your boots outside so you donât get the floor dirty, okay?â
Machiko followed Chopper through the forest, looking around the entire time. If she was going to use this place to her advantage, she needed to get a feel for the layout. Machiko wondered if she could convince Chopper to make her a map. Clearly he was convinced she was a nice person, no matter how laughable the thought was, if the humming she heard from him was any indicator.
As they arrived at the entrance of a tent, Machiko looked it up and down. How quaint. She could never live in a place like that. She had standards that definitely did not include living in a tent. "Happy...chan?" She repeated. Great, it looks like she would have to accept this nickname, even though it reminded her of a certain someone who she hated. "Alright then!" She grinned. "Let's go inside. I can't wait to see it. Chopper...kun." She said. If she was going to get a nickname then he was too. "Okay!" She shouted back removing her shoes and crawling inside after him.

"I will not deny that." Chinami said simply, closing her eyes. Although her expression didnât change when Machiko brought up her defeat, there was very clearly a hint of irritation on her voice. Just thinking about it made her angry- how could she lose to someone like Cure Beauty?
Well, that would soon change.
Opening her eyes again, she glanced over skeptically at Machiko. "Team up?" She asked, folding her arms in front of her chest. âThat depends, happy. Do you have anything to actually offer me? There is no merit in teaming up with you beyond that.â
"Isn't it obvious? You'll be able to get revenge on Cure Beauty and the rest of the precure, although I guess they don't matter as much to you do they?" She beamed. If the other was anything like Machiko that should be more than enough. But just to be sure, she needed to go further. The hurt that it could cause the other was just a bonus.
"I mean, honestly, how can you even live with yourself after that kind of defeat. It was pathetic. You couldn't have been any less beautiful in that moment and Cure Beauty looked so pretty too. It must be embarrassing. Don't you want to reclaim your lost beauty? Hm? Or would you prefer to remain like this?" She said, the grin never leaving her face the whole time.
"Well, are you going to team up with me then?" She questioned, becoming impatient with this ice queen act that the other, rather ironically, played.
â
"H-Hey what are you doing Happy!?" The rabbit yelled as she found her self on the bad endâs shoulder. "Whatâs with that outfit and why are you carrying me?"
"You know what?" Saya started to push on Machikoâs back to push herself up. "Iâll fight you before dream gets here." She said reaching for her rings. "Iâll show you what hope can really do." Grabbing a ring, she put it on her right hand before waiting for her answer.
"You're seriously going to fight me? Oh, but the damsel in distress isn't meant to do that! All you're meant to do is stay there and look scared." She laughed. "Oh, well. I guess if you really want to fight me you can. It could be interesting." She said, letting go of the girl and stepping away from her. "Hope is weak and easily breakable. I'm easily going to win. Who knows, maybe at the sight of your defeat Cure Happy will just give up!" She exclaimed and turned to her opponent, placing her hands in the usual heart shape. "Are you ready?"
