Is Felix ever naughty enough for Ollie to put him in timeout? He seems like a pretty chill little guy
Eheheheh oooh he's certainly been sent to timeout a few times!
Felix for the most part is a very well mannered boy! Polite and gentle (always saying his "please and thank yous" always offering to help around the house/help Ollie) ♡
Buuuut there are certainly days where he's not exactlllllly on board with being the sweet thing xD
It's never malicious naughty stuff, but he'll just be grumpy- crossing his arms and huffing whenever asked to do anything (he'll do the thing asked but he'll be pouty the whoooole time) stuff that doesn't exactly warrant a time out but, it all builds up.
Up to lunchtime when Ollie sets lunch down for them both. Felix looks at the cup.
Ollie looks at him for a moment before dipping her spoon into her own lunch.
"The green one is in the sink. You like the moon one."
"But moon one is only for nighttime " he huffs.
Felix looks up, arms crossed over his chest as he slumps.
"You can survive one lunchtime without your green cup. Now, eat your lunch before it gets cold," she plainly says, ending the discussion.
Felix squints, pouting intensifying because she doesn't understand! He looks at Ollie as he brings his arm to the table. His finger extending as he slooooowly nudges the cup until...it tips and clinks to the floor.
Ollie blinks before setting her spoon down with a soft sigh.
Felix looks at the table.
"Animikii Felix Sock Mckay, stand up."
Felix shudders, full name was never a good thing,,,he stands, wringing his hands.
Ollie is now standing infront of him, she tilts his jaw so he's looking at her.
"I know you will, because you're still my good boy but," she pauses, looking at the cup, "I believe someone needs a couple minutes to think about all their behaviors this morning."
"Ollie nooo," he whines, although not yanking his arm away when Ollie took hold of his wrist.
"Uh-uh, you've shown me more than once you need a timeout so," she says, bringing them both to the corner of the living room where a little stool sat, "you'll have a sit and have a think."
Felix chewed on his lower lip as he shuffled over to the stool. He turns his head to Ollie who only gestures to the stool.
"Five minutes, then you can come back to the kitchen."
Once the five minutes were up, Ollie walked back into the living room.
"Alright, five minutes are up," Ollie says, her voice trailing off when she turns Felix around and sees the tears silently rolling down his cheeks.
"Ooh Birdie," she mumurs, "did someone learn his lesson?"
Felix nodded slowly, sniffling, "M'orry, was...was grumpy and," he rubbed at his eyes, "was bad."
"Oh my sweet boy, you weren't bad," she said, rubbing her thumb over his cheek, "you just woke up on the wrong side of the bed huh? And that had you all grumpy but," she pauses as she leans in, "that doesn't mean you were bad. You just did something not so safe to show me how upset you were huh?"
Felix nodded, pressing his face against her open palm, "sorry."
Ollie hums, "it's okay, all is forgiven. Now, how about we clean up together then maybe read a chapter of that book you like before a nap, how's that sound?"
Felix thinks for a moment, nestling his chin on her shoulder, "two chapters?"
Ollie laughs, patting his back.
"Okay, two chapters since you were a good boy and stayed put the whole time."
