in celebration of such an occasion, im sticking my neck out there and publicly stating that TODAY IS THE DAY ive started on testosterone !!! this has been YEARS in the making, and today of all days SHOULD be the day i get on T !!

when i came out as trans, i wasnt only accepting that part of myself, but all of the emotions i had repressed over the years when i wasnt able to access support and healthcare. in accepting these parts of myself, i fell into a terrible depression which was nearly life-threatening... engaging with the trans community did save my life, and it is so so so important for younger trans people to have the same access to these safe spaces where they can explore themselves freely

often times when i wake up, my mind goes straight to the "why me? why me? what did i do to deserve this?" (which the answer is nothing, there is no reason or blame) and then i think of this specific jerma clip which makes me giggle and feel better :]
