Brendon at the Disco

“first off, you’re face timing and talking to me.. i’m starstruck, secondly.. i want to see a show! i love you!” awsten admitted, his true fanboy side coming out at the sight of brendon urie of all people on his phone screen talking to him over face time. “what friends are these? i was and will be again on the 17th, but for now, i’m on break. also i worked with mikey a few times and i fucking adore him!” he shared, as mikey offered bass for them on songs and even live sometimes. “thanks, we also just got back from shows with blackbear which we did shortly after the mcr shows.”

“Go fucking figure right,” Brendon laughed.  “Why not?  You guys are doing great out there and it sucks we haven’t really crossed each other.  I first heard you guys when you did that Green Day cover, which Billie Joe really liked.  I was at his last birthday party, and he’s a good guy.  I know Black Bear, and he has some sick stuff out there.  I was signed by Pete Wentz, who I still hang with all the time.  The list goes on.  Half the time I don’t believe I know these people either.”  He laughed again.  “I know Mikey too.  All of them were around about the time that we were coming out with Fever and it just blew me away.  Where are you all at right now?” 

“Oh man, I don’t tell Dinah the spoilers and she’ll be on set with me half of the time.” David said with a laugh.

“G never gives away a thing.  If he doesn’t want to talk, it doesn’t matter what you try to do to make him.  He just laughs at you.  Does she usually go to set with you?”

“Of course I saw your night B!” Taylor said with a smile. “I am so hyped for everything that you have planned.”

“I forgot how much fun it is out here,” he said.  “It’s been almost four years and I really missed it.  I’m doing the entire album with some hits at the beginning and the end.  It’s been a lot of fun showing off the new stuff.”   He was still energized even after being on the road for a bit.  “How are you doing?”

“He really is. I got to meet him a few times.” David said with a smile. “Thanks man, I can’t wait to start reading the scripts for the last season.”

“I called G right after I heard it was picked up and being made.  I was pumped.  They never disappoint.  I may have to ask for spoilers but don’t give them to me.  I’d love for it to go past the next season.” 

H: Please let the ocean in. It's so peaceful and powerful.

H: That is actually pretty romantic. I am kind of swooning here and maybe packing a small bag.

H: I'd also love to see you, and stay all night, and just be wrapped up with you until sunrise.

H: That sounds like magic.

B: I don't think I've actually closed the window since we got here.

B: Even I can be romantic sometimes. Don't tell that secret.

B: I do love that idea though. I'm in it till sunrise.

“The Knives Out sequel. It’s a Netflix movie and I’m just hoping it lives up to the hype of the original movie.” Madelyn explained. “Weren’t you on Broadway for a bit? Okay don’t be mad, but I have not had the chance to listen to the new album yet. I heard it was really good though.”

“Oh shit, I heard that was coming.  I loved the original movie.  I have to check that one out.  I was on Broadway for a bit, but I was also singing, which kind of puts that more in my comfort zone.”  He looked at her and smiled, wading out in the water.  “I’m not mad.  I do the same.  I haven’t seen the second half of season two of Outer Banks so we are even.  I was in production on this and pretty stressed out.” 

H: Well, I was maybe thinking about sitting by a huge fire with you and watching stars and listening to the ocean.

H: But okay, you are kind of right.

H: I'm not fighting you.

H: I'm in a romantic mood. I can't help it.

B: Will it help if I open the windows and let in the ocean sounds.

B: Look, I'd like that, but tonight I just want it to be just us, somewhere away from eyes or whatever. I'm going back out there after four years almost, and so just you and I - that's what I want.

H: Or we could go down to the beach.

H: Being alone - just us - in a room

H: I'm

H: You know I'm going to say yes, so YES.

B: I thought about that for a hot sec.

B: You've never had a problem with that before.

“Brendon, hey there!” Madelyn smiled at him. “I’ve been doing good. Working a lot between wrapping up this third season of OBX and the new movie I’m in. Also been going to a lot of premiers for movies and other things.”

“I know you were filming the third season.  The show is doing really well.  What movie are you in?” he asked.  “I’m still not sure about acting, but maybe someday.  I’m just excited to finally have the album out.”

B: I have a room to myself. Come have a drink.

B: You could also stay.
