hi, i loved your prompt so much i couldn’t resist writing it as soon as i saw it. i hope you like it!!
The living room was quiet and too bright for Sirius’ liking, and as he opened one of his eyes, he saw they’ve forgotten to shut the blinds before conking off on the sofa once again. They never planned on doing so, but it happened at least two times a week, and every time was the same way; Sirius would come back home with some random take-out Muggle food he found on the way to their apartment, Marlene would use Floo powder to make her way from the Daily Prophet, they would kiss, sit by the table, eat their dinners and snooze on the couch. Their routine only changed when they weren’t as tired and managed to go to the bedroom and have sex.
Alright, they made time for sex even when they barely could keep their eyes opened, but I’m not judging, you are.
When they ended up on the couch, Sirius always woke up first, feeling his arm tingling so much it hurt. He would always kiss Marlene good morning and wake her up, but something stopped him that day. He didn’t know what was different and if anyone asked, he would probably blame the lighting or something, but he couldn’t stop staring at his fiancée.
He had known for years what Marlene looked like when she was sleeping; she always has a pout on, and her forehead is slightly frowned every time. Regularly, she seemed peaceful, but it wasn’t uncommon for her to wake up in the middle of night scared to death of some nightmare she had – albeit he had seen worst things than her during the war, she had lost more people than both of them could count on their hands, and she carried that burden in her dreams. That morning, she looked like she had never seen anything evil in the world and Sirius could swear her face was beaming.
“I swear to God you’re the most beautiful woman…” He murmured, shaking his head slightly. He traced her cheek with his fingers lightly and sighed. “Holy shit.”
“I heard that.” She whispered back.
I have two questions !! I think they gradually fell for each other, but who do you think that fell in love first and who realized that it were in love first ?? 💗 We really missed you and your writing 💗

and i think the answer to both of your questions is: sirius. i've always imagined sirius being more emotional than marlene and i believe he would give in to his feelings before she did. deep down, marls always knew she was in love with him and that being with him was inevitable, but she wouldn't admit it even to herself. sirius, in the other hand, gave up as soon as he realised he couldn't stop thinking about her and he let himself feel everything as strongly as he possibly could.
