A fierce advocate for queer rights and reproductive rights, he is well-remembered in queer history as one of the pillars of the queer community. Also the pale green sword is to help represent loveless aces, because the loveless flag (at least the ones I've seen) uses pale green and a sword, and I thought it'd be a cool design going through the heart.
