In the distant past, there was a young boy, born a prince in the frozen mountains of Amphoreus. Born with larger than normal horns and unique pupil-less eyes, the boy was always seen as something beyond mortal. He was always loved by his people, but never liked for who he was, except by his mother and father.

Thorax’s parents were gracious, kind and protective of their people and son, and so, to keep their son happy, they traveled around all of Amphoreus. From Styxia to Janusopolis and more. On one such journey, Thorax and his mom had traveled to Aedes Elysiae, a beautiful small village surrounded by wheat fields, where the breeze is always gentle and the light of the sun always warm against the skin.

During the first visit to the small village, Thorax was running through the fields, laughing like he’s in paradise, when he suddenly bumps into a boy just a few years younger than him. He helps the white-haired boy up, introducing himself and fearing the reaction he’ll get, not only for his horns but also his title as a prince. The boy, whose name was Khaslana, didn’t care that Thorax had horns, or that he was a prince… he simply cared that he had a new friend to play with. For a couple weeks, the two boys only got closer and closer to one another, playing knights and eating honeycake and sometimes even napping under the sun together. But, sadly, they had to part ways when it was time for Thorax to return home to the mountains with his mother.

Tragically, just a few weeks after he had returned home, Thorax’s home was consumed by the Black tide, and he and his family had to escape. The three fled to Aedes Elysiae, since Thorax and his mother already knew a lot about the place after their stay, and so, they returned, where he could once again be with Khaslana. Tragically, months later, the Black tide consumed Aedes Elysiae, where Khaslana lost his family and neighbors, while Thorax lost his father, who had fought to protect his mother, him and his friend.

The three fled to Okhema, which was protected by the Dawn device. Here, when still recovering from mental and physical wounds, Thorax and Khaslana, who now called himself Phainon, met Aglaea, a Chrysos heir, who had taken notice to Phainon and his destiny to become a Chrysos heir as well. Thorax, not being one of them, still decided to stay with Phainon, promising to protect him no matter what.

In the safety of Okhema, Thorax and Phainon grew into teenagers, as well as joining the Grove of Epiphany to study. Here, the duo was as inseparable as always, causing problems like it’s a sport. Thorax and Phainon only grew closer to one another, like when Thorax was helping Phainon study because he had it much easier to understand the very dramatic teacher Anaxagoras. During this time, the two boys met a young prince by the name Mydeimos, who was also a Chrysos heir. Thorax would be laughing his head off while Phainon and Mydeimos would either argue or compete like two rivals destined to be in stalemates for all eternity, yet despite all of that, the three became inseparable friends, one always found with the other two not far away.

For the time after their education, Thorax, Phainon and Mydeimos, who allowed them to call him Mydei, trained constantly, growing stronger together, while simultaneously growing] closer to the other Chrysos heirs.

Thorax, who had slowly developed a crush on his two best friends, tried to show it in a more lowkey way, while the two in question were oblivious. It took Ciphera and Hyacine to get the two to understand, but in the end, the three ended up in a relationship. Every day was good, despite the evil of the Dark tide, everyone was alive and well…. Until that happiness began to waver.

Slowly but surely, the Chrysos heirs lost their lives, even Mydei passed in the end, after his weak spot had been cut into by a large sword by a mysterious figure. In the end, the Era Nova was reached.

What Thorax had yet to realize, however, was the fact that All of Amphoreus was a simulation meant to create the Lord Ravager Irontomb, a monster meant to destroy the universe. And what he hadn’t known, was that Phainon and their other friend who was lost during the destruction of Aedes Elysiae, Cyrene, had created a loop meant to hinder the birth of the monster.

However…. When the second loop began… Thorax remembered the first life he had. He remembered it all, and attempted to see if anyone else could too, yet he was alone. Thorax decided to allow his life to repeat, missing Mydei and Phainon, and so, he let himself relive his first life. It repeteated again, after the second Era Nova….

Thorax vowed to protect the Chrysos heirs, especially Phainon and Mydei. And so.. he began causing trouble around Okhema, forcing the Chrysos heirs to clean up a mess, and meanwhile, Thorax went out and fought off the Blsck tide. For years, throughout every single loop, Thorax caused trouble, disappearing right afterwards to go hunt down the Black tide, pushing it back to allow his friends a better chance at reaching Era Nova. It went so far that the Black tide started fearing him, where it would immedietly slow down at his presence.

In just the 3rd loop, Thorax figured that he can play the fool, act like he doesn’t know much better. No one remembers the Thorax from other loops, so it was perfect. He’s play the part of an idiot, allowing people to underestimate him. In the case of a body, the organs remain unaware of the ribcage that sheilds them, only committing to their duty of maintaining the body for as long as possible. Only when the ribcage was destroyed did the organs ever take damage.

Early on through the loops, Thorax had begun dealing with the Flame Reaver, an enemy he ended up figuring out was the original Khaslana, the same boy he once ran through wheat fields with, now hunting down his friends and stealing their Coreflames to force another Era Nova. Sometimes.. Khaslana also killed Thorax. Despite the many deaths at the hand of Khaslana, Thorax never blamed him for anything, yet he still fought, needing to play the part of obliviousness even against the monsterous version of his lover.

This repeated. Over and over and over and over and over and over And Over and Over and Over and OVER AND OVER AND OVER-

Years of happiness.. loss.. friendship, rivalry and love… death… all on constant repeat.

One day, during the 33,550,336th eternal recurrence, Phainon came to Thorax with the news of a duo that fell from beyond the sky. It took quite some time for Thorax to meet the Trailblazer and Dan Heng, since he was busy causing trouble while simultaneously fighting off the Black tide. Thorax was entertained, yet also very sharp about the two outsiders. He kept up the act, and after he figured out the two were trustworthy, he began to help them from afar on their missions in dangerous territory.
