『Sonic/Azu』

Taking a step back from the window, the black hedgehog cast a glance over to his mate, frowning softly. He wouldn’t snap at him again, feeling like he’d already been too rough with him. He hadn’t meant to take his anger out on the others but he was beyond stressed with the situation at hand. However, his frustration would prevent him from apologizing; instead, he would be sitting in silence as he waited for Xun to reach out to them and provide a report from the ground.

Ears twitched when he’d heard the message, thinking to himself that the other had perfect timing. Well, hell - any timing would’ve been better as it was uncomfortable to sit in silence with Xander’s jagged breaths and his mate’s annoyance.

He nodded to himself, not certain if the others heard the message, so he informed them of what he was doing.

“Xun found something. Let’s meet him downstairs,” He gestured out the door, Xander looking confused for a moment before prying away from the door frame and, subsequently, leading the pack down the stairs to meet his younger brother.

Once they’d made it downstairs, they would meet up with Xun, the black hedgehog’s eyes focused on what he was bringing to them.

“What did you find?”

"...Sounds good to me.” Sonic was honestly just glad something had been found, even if he wasn’t sure what it was yet. Some kind of clue to get them actually doing something productive he hoped. He really didn’t care much for the whole floundering around aimlessly thing and was itching to actually manage something productive.
