so here an old idea I had when I was into the Legend of Zelda fandom years ago.
Din, Farore, and Nayru are spaceship. Din being the terraforming one, Farore the one carrying life, and Nayru the one with all the knowledge.
they were launched by hylians when the corruption (the malice) took over their original world. No one has idea what it is, just that it came from space like a parasite.
3 ships, 3 captains. no one else on board because of... reasons. (not enough time, no people to save, or something)
Hylia is captain of Nayru, Demise on Din, and Fierce Deity (name was lost to time) on Farore. Immortality is by technological design, but they can still be killed.
Fierce Deity was kinda forced into the job, because he wanted to stay and fight. Turns out that the few details I had in mind resembles the ones in Project Hail Mary. He's not happy with it, but he appreciates life too much to ditch the mission and go back.
They get to the new world and Din start terraforming while Farore and Nayru wait in orbit.
Sometimes during this (it does take a long time to terraform), the corruption has followed. Demise, to protect Din and her job, absorbed it all, turning into, well, Demise.
Fierce Deity and Demise fought, Demise had enough control left of his sanity to lose on purpose, but the malice fully took over in the end and he split Fierce Deity into two parts. The power and the soul. The power was cast into a parallel dimension (eventually turning into a mask because Termina has a thing for masks). The soul became the Hero's Spirit.
Hylia was left alone on Nayru, but being the one that had a heavy hand in the ships' design, she knew how to control them remotely.
Fast forward to sometimes around Skyward Sword. Hylia and Nayru are parked somewhere in orbit. Hidden from view. either behind the moon or with an invisibility tech. Din is buried somewhere far underground. Farore is hidden in plain sight, possibly as a mountain or something. Those ships ARE big.

i can guarantee there is a woman with a cooking blog out there who has found away to pack a bunch of vegetables into a surprisingly delicious little snack for her kids. this process has never failed me when i feel like i am not eating enough fruits and veggies. my entire flat is eating spinach muffins at the moment, which doesn’t sounding particularly appealing to most people and yet somehow. they’re delicious.
UPDATE: I happened to have all the ingredients for the spinach muffins on this list and made them today, and folks, they're GOOD. They have a very nice mild flavor and don't actually taste like spinach at all

So. Obviously, this is a Sonic-Spiderman AU. Am I a spiderman fan? No. I barely know anything. That is why he's mostly just a design and a cool name. But, y'know. We have a Sonic-verse in the Sonic fandom. And then there's the Spiderverse... something about the idea of Spider-Sonic (aka Speedweaver!) having to navigate two multiversal associations was very funny to me. The child leaning on the 3! So this baby doesn't actually yet have a name, but he's a story I may write someday. The main premise? Oh why. Basically cross-universal Olympics. But possibly with a side of Eggdad. I love found family, although I don't think I've made it obvious yet.
Sonic and The Devil's Mirror
The weird looking Sonic floating in the back. This is a story I definitely want to tell some day. My favorite fairy tale growing up, hands down, was The Snow Queen. My mom had this big, old, crumbling book with all of Hans Christian Andersen's tales (a book which I would give anything to own now, weathered and worn and loved as it was) and she would read us The Snow Queen, bit by bit, so we could go to sleep. So then. Sonic and The Devil's Mirror would be my take on Sonic and The Snow Queen following the Storybook series formula. Still debating whether I should just do The Snow Queen or incorporate Andersen's other tales, however.

Deltarune!Sonic
The Super Sonic looking guy. Look. If I wasn't already neck deep in a Sonic Undertale crossover, maybe I'd consider it, but personally, I actually respect Deltarune's story way too bloody much to try and insert Sonic into it. Which, I know, it sounds wild, but Deltaune is A Game man. I don't wanna mess with that beep, not with the sheer respect I have for the role of the player, and that's something you can only have with A Game. Maybe some day I'll change my mind. Probs not. Have a Sonic Dark World design as a consolation prize. But in case you're wondering, yes, he's meant to be star themed! So his attacks or magic or weapon or whatever would be star themed.
Deseo
The bright cyan child. Okay so. This one is a bit more up in the air. For the moment, Deseo is from a Cult of the Lamb x Sonic roleplay I'm doing with @fortunedulyblest. He actually has two forms. I'll post some art of him eventually and you'll see 'em. But. Point is. He technically is not from a story? I am on the fence on possibly making a story inspired on the roleplay. Unsure, however. Maybe there'll be a Sonic x CotL crossover down the road anyways. But he's a design, so he's here.
Toon!Sonic
The child under the numbers. A design I made (inspired by Skyline Sonic) for a Sonic x Dandy's World crossover. I don't really care much for Dandy's World anymore? But his design was cute, so I kept him.
Saiph
The one with the sandworm. He's here! He's there! He's everywhere! But yeah, Saiph is here again, except this time it's his older design, so after he's gotten a couple of years to get settle. For anyone keeping track, that does mean that Saiph has been in all three of these anniversary pieces, which was... a surprise to me, but not an unwelcome one! Again, Saiph is from a roleplay with @sad-catbrick. Itty bitty boy. Oh! And also, the sandworm with him? That would be Polar!
Grant's Kid
And the last remaining one, in the yellow jacket. Grant's Kid is such a weird name, you're probably thinking, and you'd be kinda right. It's just. With him there's. Uh. This situation. In that. He doesn't actually have a set name. Because of Trauma™ in regards to names, he changes which one he uses depending on the situation and how he's feeling. Reconciling different parts of himself which he'd neglected, basically. But that does mean he's. A bit hard to address. So Grant's Kid became the way me and @fortunedulyblest address him, since he's from our roleplay anyways. ...but who's Grant, you ask? Oh none other than Grant Cohen from the hit game Bendy and the Ink Machine. Yeah. He's a great dad to the boy, worry not.
And that is the 2025 babies, all lined up! Now to wait one more year. I hopefully won't have that many more to add.
