One : “Currently sitting on the best of both worlds”

I get a lot of confused faces when I tell people what i’m majoring in, in college. “You’re planning on going to medical school? Huh, I’ve always thought you were going to take an arts major.” When I was young, I was so sure of what I wanted to be. It was to be a media personality - the triple threat kind - one that can sing, dance, and act. While I was dreaming about that life, I was also in school trying my best to stay in the very top honor roll. As I grew up, my dreams and thoughts slightly changed. I grew to love MATH and SCIENCE (it was evident in my early years of schooling that I was quite good at both) as much as I loved all kinds of ART. I think I have to attribute this passion for education and artistry to my parents who are both intelligent engineers, and very talented artists in their own rights. My father’s whole clan is insanely brilliant in both departments as well, whereas my mother’s family is known for being amazing in logistics and being resourceful.

I love making art all the time for fun and I try to squeeze as much creative juice as I possibly can. But I also love learning more about math and science in order to know how to make this planet a better place to live in. With that, I wish to be able to leave Earth knowing I’ve gained achievements in both education and artistry, for the betterment of future mankind.
