and how it being bought out by yahoo made it even fucking worse because they were like, "oh we're anti porn!" and then tumblr got infested with fucking porn bots with no nsfw warnings on the photos of said blogs.

talk about a walking contradiction.

it's definitely for the better that I keep away from social media and only consume it in short bursts lest I become somewhat chronically online again. I'd like to be that random person someday that just posts a bunch of art and then leaves for 6 months only to post more art again.

I've been drawing almost every day, just anything that comes to my mind. And I am finding that the more time I spent away from social media, the more time I have to just... be and live in the present and not worry about really silly and trivial things about whether anyone likes what I write/draw or the characters I make, or the OC/Canon ship that I have. I can just invest time in just. Making it be.

Writing has been left on the back burner since Jan/Feb this year, and I'm sure it will come back to me at some stage. There's a lot I want to do there too.

I'm glad I have these hobbies, but having a full-time job with different shift times each day makes things difficult. On top with have after work related things.

I need to grow up and stop letting others ruin shit for me, it's a fucking joke at this point.
