Quarter life
I guess I could no longer deny the fact that I am undergoing the so-called quarter life crisis. I left my first job when I knew my mom was dying of cancer. It was a very hard decision to make. It was easy when I thought Iโm sick and tired of the routine I had to do in work. But it was hard for I have completely fallen inlove with the people around me, my workmates and friends. Plus the benefits the company offered me was quite good compared to others. So then that I realized that being jobless is far harder. I got to take care of mamsi. I took her a bath, I fed her, changed her clothes, and cooked for her (sometimes). It was true that it wasnโt easy. It was never easy seeing your mom becomes weaker each day. To see her cry for the unbearable pain. I convinced myself that I am strong. I cried whenever I realize how she changed everyday. Then I decided to get a part-time job. Maybe just enough for my allowance. But it was so fast. too fast that my mamsi left us not longer than three months after we went home in the povince. Now I finished the semester as a part-time instructor. And I am here in a computer shop typing this blog because I donโt know whom to vent my disappointment. I thought I was already starting for a new job when I learned the position I was supposed to take was already filled. Damn it. I am 24 and I already feel the pressure of having to earn a lot. Yet here am I, searching for jobs in the internet without any assurance when could I get a job.ย
