Me, procrastinating from doing my homework: Hmmm wonder what happened to all the shit sitting in my Google Doc drafts for months ah there’s one sure why not. And then I proofread it and here we are. I think it’s been almost a year since I translated anything for this blog. What can I say, I got busy :V This is the end credits song for the 5th Keroro movie so someone out there has translated this already but I have a permit and it says “I can do what I want.” Also those other translations are buried in old releases of movie 5 subs so yeah. This song is preformed by Ayaka Hirahara, who later got a self insert character in the manga, and according to Japanese Wikipedia it’s based on “Trepak” from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite, which you have almost certainly heard before even if you don’t know it by name and oH GOD THE CHORD PROGRESSIONS REALLY ARE INCREDIBLY SIMILAR MIND BLOWN I think a mashup is required now This song makes me cry enjoy (under the cut)
