Alpha Chi Sigma Colony at UNO

Hi UNO Community!

THIS Friday, the GCS and AXS will be holding a Privateer Plunge event titled - ChemiCarnival!

We are still in need of volunteers!!

We will host several demos on Friday, Sept 25th 11 AM - 2 PM on the West Library Lawn (diagonal to Chem Bldg).

Demos include: Ocean in a Bottle, Dissolving Cups, Elephant Toothpaste, Corn Starch Run, & Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream!!

Application for membership is due TOMORROW by 5 PM. You can drop it off in the folder on the outside of CSB 228 or you can scan and email us the application: [email protected] 

The Pinning Ceremony for becoming a pledge will be held on Friday, September 4th at 12 PM in CSB 109. All applicants will be contacted regarding this ceremony.

  Party in Pink Zumbathon:  THIS Saturday, October 11th from 10 am - 12 pm at the UNO Rec Center!!

Our sister-brother, Treva B., will be leading this Party in Pink Zumbathon! This event brings awareness, support, and raises funds towards Breast Cancer Research.

AXΣ will be here to help sponsor this event, as we'll be holding a small bake sale with healthy snacks and drink options.

Swampball Fall 2014!

The Atoms Family came out with a 1 - 2 record, not bad for our first try!!

MANY AXS members and pledges played for the team, including Grayson Pool, Ben Furlan, Manny Morejon-Toledo, Evan Melacon, Violet Lee, and Sarah Gauthier.

Initiation for Fall 2014 Pledges will be held on Saturday November 15th, beginning at 5 pm in the Chemical Sciences Building.

Initiation is MANDATORY for ALL members and pledges.

We will be hosting Brothers from Alcorn University who will be helping out with the Initiation Ceremony.

This is will likely take several hours, so clear out that Saturday night - because we'll probably go celebrate with food and drinks afterwards too!
