“Yes, yes we would.  My cousin would never talk to me again” Lyra gave a small sigh as she gently gestured to look at the wound. “May I?” She asked, she had been through her deal of breakages and fractures. “Well, glad to know your humour is intact.” Lyra grinned and inspected the wound. “Looks okay, doesn’t look broken, maybe a small fracture.”

Aubrey now wasn’t too sure if Lyra was kidding or serious about the date, and part of him was hoping she really did want him to go with her. Their meeting was a little strange, but he liked her and thought getting to know her could be a lot of fun.  He gave Lyra a sheepish little smile as she checked him over.  “All in all, I would say it’s totally worth it.”

Lyra nodded and leaned back some as she looked at Aubrey. “Definitely. Got a cute boyfriend for the night, and you got a cute girlfriend.” She giggled softly and then sat back up and looked up at the sky. “Hey, not too often you can see stars here!” She said, her voice going a bit higher in excitement.
