A Vash and potential middle Gautier doodle

Coloring for the first time and all I can say is I hate markers and pencils are just a bit less daunting. Still don’t know how to work w lighting lmao

I used Ohuhu markers for Vash, but don’t like how he turned out. Prismacolors on middle Gautier and that worked out a bit better

Trying to figure out how I want to draw younger Miklan. His hair is hard for me to get down. I want to give him unruly bangs that are sort of an unkempt version of Matthias with the addition of a wavy ponytail. I like the idea of his brows being somewhat thinner than Sylvain’s. His cheekbones don’t really come in until further adulthood. I would say he’s in his early 20s in these doodles? Haven’t experimented with the scars and if I want to have them earlier or later on for him.

Obviously, I love the idea of him in puffy sleeved, loose tunics, and I’m realizing I need to study how to draw frills in order to fully express him how I want to. I’ll be practicing that along with coloring. I got my hands on paints, markers, and colored pencils, and I’ve never colored before so Miklan will likely be destroyed in the experimental process.
