Dear stranger,
Iāve been thinking about what to write for a while now and decided to just let it flow. I donāt know which circumstances have led you here and neither I know how you are feeling at this very moment. If youāre feeling great and youāre in a place where your life is at peace, I congratulate you. But if youāre feeling not so good and youāre confused about anything and you havenāt found an answer to the question youāre afraid to ask, let me tell you this: itās ok; we all have been or are or will be there.
We human beings live between a past that hunts us and a future that awaits for us. We often get too lost between what could have been and what it will be that this very moment gets so underrated that the clock keeps on marking another second that has gone by and itās unnoticed. I, for instance, think too much about everything and particularly about the future. Always thinking about tomorrow and sometimes forgetting about today is a common mistake, specially in nowadays when everything is so fast and we want everything to happen right now and we all are helpless dreamers and helpless romantics that we all forget that dreams and love have to be built and they are not made up out of the blue. So, if you have a dream -which I hope you do- and you been second guessing about it, let me say this, straight and slowly: you have to go for it. And if you have love -which I know you do- donāt ever doubt about sharing it, because love must be shared. I know I might sound too clichĆ© but I canāt help it. Iām the kind of person that gets lost in the dark too often but always remember to turn on the light eventually. And life will get dark and confusing and even devastating, but with dreams and love in your heart you will find a way. Because thereās always a way when you are willing to find it or make it.
So, dear stranger I hope you are a helpless dreamer and a helpless romantic and whether you have found your way or you are still trying to find it, please, donāt forget this: change sometimes breaks us but itās within our nature; we are not rocks that are meant to sink in the river, we are water that must go with the flow. And please cherish this very second that has gone by, because you never know which exact second is going to be the one that will change everything.
Sincerely. Iām Lucas, by the way.
