Thank you so much, sweetheart!! 🤭💗 This genuinely means so much to me, you have no idea. 🥹 I've always been someone who romanticises life and finds comfort in the little things, so writing has kind of become my way of sharing that with other people. If my silly little stories can make someone smile, brighten their day, or help them escape reality for a little while, then that's honestly all I could ever ask for. Knowing my work has that kind of impact on someone is the best feeling. Thank you for taking the time to write me this, it truly made my day. 🥹🫶💗

There was one thing you had learned very early on in your relationship.
The boys loved compliments.
No.
The boys THRIVED on compliments.
Especially compliments regarding their appearance.
Which explained why casually admitting that muscles were attractive had perhaps been the greatest mistake of your life.
It had happened during one of your usual movie nights.
Astoria had been scrolling through wizarding magazines while the rest of you were cuddled together on the couches when she suddenly held up a picture of a professional Quidditch player.
"Oh wow," she smiled. "His arms are ridiculous."
Pansy immediately nodded.
"Muscles are ridiculously attractive."
"Absolutely," Daphne agreed.
"Especially forearms," you added absentmindedly.
Silence.
Complete silence.
The five boys slowly looked at one another.
"Interesting," Draco finally said.
"Extremely interesting," Mattheo agreed.
Theo quietly closed his book.
"Please elaborate."
The girls frowned in confusion.
"There's nothing to elaborate on?" you laughed. "Muscles are attractive. Everyone knows that."
"Oh."
"Oh?"
"Good to know."
The conversation continued normally.
Or so the girls thought.
The boys, however, had begun planning.
───
The following Saturday morning, the girls walked into the common room only to discover something deeply concerning.
Five boys standing in front of the fireplace.
With their sleeves rolled up.
"Good morning!" Lorenzo smiled proudly.
"..."
"..."
"What's happening?" Daphne asked cautiously.
"We have some questions," Mattheo announced dramatically.
"Oh no," Pansy sighed.
"Who has the biggest arms?"
Silence.
"What?"
"You heard me."
"WHY ARE YOU ASKING US THIS?"
"Because your opinions matter."
"More importantly," Draco interrupted, "who has the nicest forearms?"
"This feels like a trap."
"It isn't."
"It absolutely is."
Theo somehow pulled out an actual piece of parchment.
"I've prepared categories."
"YOU PREPARED CATEGORIES?!" Astoria laughed.
"There are seventeen."
"SEVENTEEN?!"
"We've narrowed them down considerably."
The girls slowly looked at one another before bursting into laughter.
"YOU'RE SERIOUS?!" you asked.
"Dead serious."
"Well, what are the categories?"
The boys immediately perked up.
• Biggest arms.
• Broadest shoulders.
• Nicest forearms.
• Best jawline.
• Most aesthetically pleasing physique.
• Most huggable.
• Best back muscles.
• Hottest black t-shirt wearer.
• Best smile while flexing.
• Most attractive when rolling sleeves up.
• Best hands.
• Best hair after Quidditch practice.
• Most boyfriend material.
• Best cuddle body.
• Strongest.
• Most attractive laugh.
• Most likely to survive living in the woods.
"WHY IS THE LAST ONE THERE?" Daphne laughed.
"THAT'S IMPORTANT INFORMATION!" Lorenzo defended.
The girls quickly realized there was no escaping this.
"Fine," Pansy smiled. "Mattheo definitely has the broadest shoulders."
There was one week every month that the boys feared more than exam season.
Period week.
Not because periods scared them. After years of dating four girls, they were practically experts at this point.
No.
They feared period week because somehow, despite basic biology suggesting otherwise, the four of you had managed to synchronize your cycles.
Which meant one very unfortunate thing.
All four of your periods arrived within a few days of one another.
Every. Single. Month.
It usually started slowly.
Monday morning, Reader cried because a baby Kneazle sneezed in front of her during Care of Magical Creatures.
"He's just so SMALL!" you sniffled into Mattheo's shoulder.
"Understandable."
Ten minutes later, you threatened to hex Lorenzo because he'd stolen one of your fries at lunch.
"YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE ONE!"
"IT LOOKED IDENTICAL TO THE OTHERS!"
Meanwhile, Pansy was ready to commit murder because someone had sat in her favorite chair in the common room.
"Whoever did this has exactly thirty seconds to confess."
No one dared to move.
Astoria had decided she hated all of her clothes despite having worn the exact same outfit two weeks ago and loving it.
And Daphne?
Daphne had informed everyone that if one more person asked her whether she was okay, she would become their thirteenth reason.
The boys slowly sat down at the Slytherin table during breakfast and exchanged concerned looks.
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Oh Merlin," Theo sighed.
"It's all four of them, isn't it?" Draco asked.
"Code Red," Blaise nodded solemnly.
Lorenzo immediately pulled out a notebook.
"Period Week Protocol?"
"Period Week Protocol."
No one was entirely sure when they'd started calling it that.
Probably around their second year together.
The protocol itself was actually quite simple.
Step one:
No unnecessary teasing.
Step two:
Maximum cuddles allowed.
Step three:
Keep chocolate stocked at all times.
Step four:
Never question cravings.
Step five:
Always agree with whatever they're saying.
"My hair looks awful today."
"Impossible."
"I've become ugly overnight."
"Objectively false."
"I hate everyone."
"Entirely valid."
The boys had become frighteningly good at handling period week.
Unfortunately for them, synchronized periods meant synchronized mood swings.
Which meant Hogwarts was approximately forty percent more emotional for an entire week every month.
By Wednesday, things had somehow gotten worse.
The four of you had taken over an entire couch in the common room.
Reader was laying with her head in Mattheo's lap.
Pansy had stolen Draco's jacket despite already wearing her own.
Astoria was curled up beside Blaise with approximately four blankets wrapped around her.
And Daphne was silently sipping tea while Theo rubbed circles on her back.
"I feel gross," Reader complained dramatically.
"You are physically incapable of being gross," Mattheo replied immediately.
"My skin hates me."
"Your skin has been glowing all week."
"THAT'S NOT THE POINT!"
"I don't know what the point is anymore."
Lorenzo suddenly walked into the common room carrying approximately six bags from Honeydukes.
"I HAVE RETURNED!"
"What's all this?" Daphne asked.
"I PANICKED!"
"Reasonable."
The boys had quickly discovered that when in doubt, chocolate solved approximately ninety percent of their problems.
The remaining ten percent required cuddles.
Then came the moment that officially activated Crisis Mode.
"I wish someone would play with my hair," you sighed dramatically.
Silence.
Five boys immediately looked up.
"Me."
"No, it's my turn."
"You played with her hair yesterday."
"THAT WAS FOR TEN MINUTES!"
"Oh! Can someone braid mine?" Astoria asked hopefully.
"I WANT A SCALP MASSAGE!" Pansy added.
"And my back hurts," Daphne admitted quietly.
The boys slowly exchanged looks.
An idea suddenly formed.
"We're having a spa night."
Silence.
"What?" Reader asked.
"Tonight."
"Mandatory attendance," Draco nodded.
"There's going to be hot chocolate."
"And fluffy pajamas."
"And movies."
"And face masks."
"And absolutely no responsibilities."
The girls immediately looked significantly happier.
"Can we have candles?" Astoria asked.
"Already purchased."
"Heating charms?" Pansy added.
"Prepared."
"Flowers?"
"On their way."
By Friday evening, the girls' dorm had been completely transformed.
There were fluffy blankets everywhere, candles floating around the room, enough chocolate to feed an army, and every skincare product the boys could find in Diagon Alley.
The funniest part?
The boys had somehow become more excited about spa night than the four of you.
"Reader, which hair oil do you like best?"
"How do you know I use hair oil?"
"I've been taking notes."
"THAT'S ADORABLE and a bit creepy."
"Would anyone like another cup of tea?" Theo asked for approximately the fifteenth time that evening.
"Can I have another scalp massage?" Pansy smiled.
"Already on it."
Daphne was currently receiving a shoulder massage while explaining the proper steeping time for her tea.
Astoria was making flower crowns with Lorenzo.
And Reader had somehow fallen asleep in Mattheo's lap while Draco gently played with your hair.
"I love period week," Lorenzo admitted quietly.
The room immediately fell silent.
"You WHAT?" Mattheo laughed.
"I know everyone gets emotional and cramps suck and it isn't fun, but..." he smiled softly as he looked around the room. "It's kind of nice."
"How?" Pansy asked.
"Because it's the one week every month where all of you stop pretending you don't need to be spoiled."
The girls immediately softened.
He wasn't entirely wrong.
Period week meant slowing down. It meant asking for help without feeling guilty. It meant being wrapped in blankets while someone made you tea and told you that everything would be okay.
Most importantly, it reminded all nine of you that being loved sometimes meant letting yourself be taken care of too.
Safe to say, synchronized periods would probably remain one of the greatest mysteries of your relationship.
The boys, however, weren't complaining.
After all, getting to spoil the people they loved for an entire week every month?

The Yule Ball was easily one of the prettiest events of the year at Hogwarts.
It was also, unfortunately, one of the most stressful.
Especially when eight of your partners happened to be ridiculously attractive.
The girls had decided to get ready together in your dorm room while the boys got ready downstairs.
You'd honestly been looking forward to it for weeks.
There was nothing quite like watching your girlfriends get excited over dresses, jewelry and hairstyles.
Pansy had somehow managed to look stunning before she'd even finished getting ready. Her black dress hugged her figure perfectly and somehow made her look even more glamorous than usual.
Astoria looked like she'd walked straight out of a fairytale. Everything about her was soft and elegant, from her dress to the way she'd braided flowers into her hair.
And Daphne...
You genuinely believed Daphne Greengrass could make a potato sack look elegant if she tried hard enough.
They were all beautiful.
Beautiful in completely different ways.
And somehow, that was what made it worse.
"Oh my Merlin, look at you!" Astoria smiled as Pansy finally put on her earrings.
"You look hot," you immediately replied.
Pansy grinned.
"Well, obviously."
The three of you laughed as Daphne helped Astoria with her necklace.
"You look like an actual princess," you smiled at Astoria.
"Thank you, darling."
"And you're literally the definition of elegance," you added as Daphne smiled softly.
You loved moments like these.
Until it was finally your turn.
You slipped into your dress before turning towards the mirror.
Silence.
"Oh."
The dress wasn't ugly.
In fact, it was quite pretty.
It just...
Didn't look like Pansy's dress.
Or Astoria's.
Or Daphne's.
You suddenly became painfully aware of every little difference between you and the girls.
Pansy's curves.
Astoria's beautiful hair.
The way Daphne somehow looked so effortlessly feminine and elegant all the time.
You quietly sat down as the girls continued getting ready around you.
No one had said anything.
No one had made you feel bad.
You simply couldn't stop comparing yourself to the people you loved most in the world.
Because how could you not?
They were gorgeous.
And then came the thought that made your stomach twist.
What if I don't look as good as them?
Followed shortly by an even worse one.
What if I don't look like I belong with them?
You'd always loved that your relationship was poly.
You loved watching the people you cared about love one another.
You loved seeing Mattheo and Lorenzo being idiots together.
You loved when Draco got all soft whenever Astoria smiled at him.
You loved seeing Theo read quietly while Pansy rested her head on his shoulder.
You loved watching them exist together.
They looked perfect together.
And suddenly, for the first time in years, you wondered if you fit into that picture.
A knock on the door interrupted your thoughts.
"IF YOU DON'T OPEN THIS DOOR IN THE NEXT THIRTY SECONDS WE'RE COMING IN ANYWAY!" Mattheo yelled from the hallway.
"You have five seconds left!" Lorenzo added dramatically.
The girls laughed before opening the door.
The boys immediately froze.
"Wow," Blaise smiled softly. "You all look beautiful."
And they really did.
Draco walked over to Daphne before kissing her forehead and complimenting her dress.
Mattheo immediately went over to Astoria to help fix one of her bracelets.
Theo smiled as Pansy sat beside him, his arm naturally finding its place around her waist.
And all you could think was...
They look perfect together.
You quietly smiled at the sight.
"What's wrong?" Astoria asked softly as she sat beside you.
"Nothing."
"Liar," Pansy replied immediately.
You laughed nervously.
"It's stupid."
"That has never stopped us before," Lorenzo smiled.
The room laughed softly before everyone sat down around you.
You looked at them for a moment before finally admitting,
"Sometimes I wonder if people look at us and question why I'm here."
The entire room immediately went silent.
"What?" Mattheo frowned.
"You all look so..." you gestured vaguely towards everyone in the room. "Beautiful."
"Continue," Draco encouraged.
"And I look at all of you together and you fit so perfectly."
You smiled sheepishly.
"And then I wonder if maybe I'd fit better if I looked more like one of you."
Silence.
"If I looked like Pansy or had Astoria's hair or if I was more elegant like Daphne..."
You laughed softly.
"I don't know. Sometimes I feel like I'm the odd one out in the prettiest relationship Hogwarts has ever seen."
No one spoke for several moments.
Finally, Pansy was the first to break the silence.
"Darling, if you looked like me there would be two Pansys."
"..."
"Frankly, one is already difficult enough."
The room immediately burst out laughing.
Astoria gently took your hand.
"And if you had my hair, I'd be devastated because I happen to quite like yours."
Daphne smiled softly.
"And I would very much appreciate it if you didn't change a single thing about yourself."
"But-"
"No," Theo interrupted gently. "You're missing the point."
"What point?"
He thought for a moment before speaking.
"If I painted a picture of all nine of us and replaced one of us with someone who looked more like another person in the painting, do you know what I'd call it?"
"What?"
"Incomplete."
Your expression softened immediately.
Blaise smiled as he sat beside you.
"You don't want to look like them."
"I do though."
"No," he shook his head softly. "You want to feel the way they make you feel when you look at them."
The entire room grew quiet.
"You look at Pansy and think she's beautiful," he continued. "You look at Astoria and think she's beautiful. You look at Daphne and think she's beautiful."
You nodded.
"But none of us have ever looked at you and wished you looked more like someone else."
Mattheo smiled softly.
"I've literally never looked at you and thought, 'You know what? She'd be prettier if she looked like Pansy.'"
"That would be incredibly rude," Draco added.
"You belong in this relationship because you're you," Astoria smiled. "Not because of how you look standing next to us."
"And besides," Pansy smirked. "You realize we've all spent years wishing we could pull off things that look amazing on you, right?"
"WHAT?"
"Darling," Daphne laughed softly. "Beauty isn't a competition."
"It's more like an art gallery," Blaise smiled.
"What?"
"If I walked into an art gallery and saw nine beautiful paintings, I wouldn't ask why one of them didn't look more like the others."
You felt your eyes beginning to sting as you looked around at the people you loved most in the world.
Maybe...
Maybe you didn't need to look like someone else to belong beside them.
Maybe you belonged beside them simply because you were you.
And honestly?
That sounded far more beautiful than looking like anyone else ever could.
This year, however, you had decided to do something different.
You were going to buy everyone's presents by yourself.
Which, admittedly, sounded like a perfectly normal thing to do until you realized that this would be your very first solo shopping trip in years.
Shopping alone simply wasn't something you did.
Not intentionally, at least.
Somehow, there was always one of your partners with you. Whether it was Draco buying you something ridiculously expensive because "it reminded me of you", Pansy dragging you into boutiques, Mattheo insisting on carrying your shopping bags despite the fact that they only contained one chocolate frog, or Blaise somehow paying for your hot chocolate before you'd even taken your wallet out.
There was always someone.
You honestly couldn't remember the last time you'd made it through Hogsmeade by yourself.
Which explained why your announcement during breakfast was met with complete and utter silence.
"You're going ALONE?" Lorenzo asked, horrified.
"Yes!"
"Voluntarily?" Daphne added.
"YES!"
"Without one of us?" Theo frowned.
"Yes?"
The entire table exchanged concerned looks.
"She's growing up," Lorenzo whispered dramatically.
"No, I don't like it," Draco immediately replied.
"It's just Hogsmeade!" you laughed. "I want to surprise you all for Valentine's Day."
The entire table immediately softened.
"That's adorable," Astoria smiled.
"Text us if you need anything," Daphne added.
"Or if shopping becomes overwhelming," Theo offered.
"Or if someone annoys you," Astoria nodded.
"Or if you decide being independent is overrated," Lorenzo shrugged.
You rolled your eyes.
"I'm perfectly capable of surviving a shopping trip by myself."
The entire table looked unconvinced.
You proudly left the Great Hall feeling incredibly independent.
Which was admittedly slightly embarrassing considering that successfully making it to Hogsmeade without one of your partners felt like a major life achievement.
───
The first hour went perfectly.
You found:
• a beautiful silver bookmark for Theo,
• expensive tea for Daphne,
• enchanted flowers for Astoria,
• sweets for Mattheo,
• a ridiculously dramatic scarf for Draco,
• matching accessories for Pansy,
• magical creature stickers for Lorenzo,
• luxury hot chocolate for Blaise.
Everything was going wonderfully.
Until...
"Oh! This would be perfect!"
You smiled as you picked up the last gift before reaching into your bag.
Silence.
"..."
"..."
"..."
Where was your wallet?
You checked again.
Then a third time.
Nothing.
"Oh no."
You sat down on a nearby bench and frowned.
"Okay. Don't panic."
When was the last time you'd seen your wallet?
Nothing.
When was the last time you'd used your wallet?
More silence.
"Oh Merlin."
You genuinely couldn't remember.
The last time you'd gone to Honeydukes, Draco had paid.
The last time you'd bought books, Theo had paid.
The last time you'd gone shopping, Pansy had somehow bought you matching accessories before you'd even realized you wanted them.
The last time you'd gone out for tea, Daphne had paid.
The last time you'd bought sweets, Mattheo had paid because "you looked sad."
Actually...
The last time you'd bought literally anything...
Someone else had paid for it.
"THIS IS VERY CONCERNING."
After fifteen minutes of panicking, you finally gave up and opened the group chat.
Reader ♡
Slight problem.
Immediately, everyone started typing.
Mattheo ♡
WHO DO I HAVE TO KILL?
Pansy ♡
WHAT HAPPENED?
Draco ♡
Are you hurt?
Reader ♡
No! I'm fine.
Could someone send me some money?
Silence.
Complete silence.
Then...
Blaise ♡
Didn't I send you 100 Galleons before you left?
Reader ♡
YOU DID WHAT?
Theo ♡
I thought I already sent you money this morning.
Reader ♡
YOU DID?!
Daphne ♡
Wait. Check your account sweetheart.
Reader ♡
What account?
Astoria ♡
Your Gringotts account.
Reader ♡
MY WHAT?
The group chat immediately exploded.
Lorenzo ♡
HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW YOU HAVE A GRINGOTTS ACCOUNT?!
Reader ♡
I THOUGHT YOU WERE JOKING WHEN YOU MADE ME SIGN THOSE PAPERS!
Daphne ♡
Darling, those were banking documents.
Reader ♡
OH.
Lorenzo ♡
SHE DOESN'T KNOW SHE'S RICH.
Draco ♡
That's actually impressive.
Mattheo ♡
Reader, how exactly did you think you've been paying for things this year?
Reader ♡
I HAVEN'T BEEN PAYING FOR THINGS! YOU PEOPLE KEEP BUYING THEM FOR ME!
Theo ♡
Correct.
Reader ♡
THAT'S NOT NORMAL!
Astoria ♡
Seems perfectly normal to me.
Theo ♡
Statistically speaking, you've paid for approximately three things since arriving at Hogwarts.
Reader ♡
THREE?!
Theo ♡
Two of which were gifts for us.
You sat there staring at your phone in complete horror.
Then another message appeared.
Astoria ♡
How much money do you need?
Reader ♡
About 15 Galleons?
Three seconds later...
Draco ♡
Sent 500.
Reader ♡
WHY?!
Mattheo ♡
Sent 300.
Pansy ♡
Sent 200.
Lorenzo ♡
I PANICKED.
Blaise ♡
I sent another 150 just in case.
Daphne ♡
You forgot lunch money.
Theo ♡
And emergency hot chocolate money.
At this point, you'd somehow received enough money to buy half of Hogsmeade.
───
When you returned to the common room later that evening, everyone immediately looked up.
"So?" Pansy smiled. "How was your first solo shopping trip?"
"I discovered I don't know where my wallet is."
"Reasonable."
"I forgot I had a Gringotts account."
"Less reasonable."
"And apparently I'm financially dependent on all of you."
"Very reasonable," Draco nodded.
You sat down between Mattheo and Astoria before sighing dramatically.
"When exactly did this happen?"
The entire room went silent for a moment.
"No idea," Blaise admitted.
"It just sort of... happened," Daphne smiled.
"You cried because you thought flowers were too expensive during your second week at Hogwarts," Mattheo reminded you.
"And because I wanted them!"
"So I bought them."
"You bought ALL of them!"
"Correct."
"Remember when she tried paying for wizard sweets with euros?" Lorenzo laughed.
"THAT WAS ONE TIME!"
"Or when she asked whether Gringotts accepted thank-you letters as payment?" Theo added.
"THE GOBLINS LOOKED VERY FRIENDLY!"
The truth was, nobody had ever sat down and decided to spoil you.
They simply loved seeing you smile.
And somehow, over the years, that had slowly evolved into a relationship where your wallet was more of a decorative accessory than an actual necessity.
Needless to say...
Your Valentine's Day shopping trip was a success.
Even if you still had absolutely no idea where your wallet was.
When people heard that a muggle-born student had transferred to Hogwarts late and somehow ended up dating the entirety of the Slytherin Gang, they all came to the same conclusion.
Poor girl.
"Do you think they're making her polish their broomsticks?"
"Probably."
"I heard she's terrified of magic!"
"She's definitely being bullied."
The reality, however, was significantly more ridiculous.
You had arrived at Hogwarts late.
Which meant that unlike everyone else your age, you had somehow managed to miss learning approximately ninety percent of wizarding culture.
You didn't know how Quidditch worked.
You held your wand like a pencil during your first week.
You had once asked if moving portraits needed feeding.
And flying?
Flying was quite literally your worst nightmare.
Flying lessons had somehow slipped through the cracks during your transfer process, which meant that after months of dating the Slytherin Gang, you still had absolutely no idea how to get on a broom.
Naturally, this was unacceptable.
"No, because how do you expect to support us during Quidditch season if you don't even understand the rules?" Draco complained one evening.
"I clap when people score!"
"You clapped when the opposing team scored."
"THEY LOOKED SO HAPPY!"
That was the exact moment the gang decided to take matters into their own hands.
You were going to learn how to fly.
Whether you liked it or not.
"I'm going to die."
"No, darling," Daphne reassured while wrapping your scarf around your neck. "We've already discussed this. You're not allowed to die."
"Wonderful. Glad we've established that."
The following Saturday morning, the entire Quidditch pitch had been unofficially reserved.
This immediately raised concerns throughout Hogwarts.
"Why are all eight Slytherins carrying broomsticks?"
"Is this a cult thing?"
"WHY IS MALFOY CARRYING FLOWERS?"
"Emotional support flowers," Draco corrected.
Everyone immediately assumed the worst.
"Oh Merlin."
"They're finally making the muggle-born fly."
Then they saw what was actually happening.
"Those monsters."
Mattheo was currently carrying you bridal style because you'd refused to walk onto the Quidditch pitch.
Theo had brought three books titled:
• Flying for Beginners
• Flying Safety
• Flying Safety for Nervous Witches and Wizards
Blaise had packed an entire picnic basket.
Pansy was braiding ribbons onto your broom because "it was ugly."
Astoria had charmed tiny stars onto your flying gloves.
Daphne was repeatedly asking if you wanted to stop.
Lorenzo was trying to convince you that flying was "basically sitting on a floating chair."
And Draco?
"WHAT IS HAPPENING?" one Gryffindor asked from the stands.
Draco had purchased what was probably the most expensive beginner's broomstick available because "if she's going to panic, she might as well panic comfortably."
"We're teaching our girlfriend how to fly," Mattheo answered as if it was obvious.
"Why are there flowers?"
"Because she's nervous."
"WHY ARE THERE SNACKS?"
"Because she's nervous."
"WHY ARE THERE EIGHT OF YOU?"
At this point, the entire school had gathered around the Quidditch pitch to witness what they assumed would be your immediate death.
"Because SHE'S NERVOUS!"
"This feels like public humiliation," you whispered.
"No, darling," Pansy corrected. "Public humiliation would be making you do this in front of the entire school without us threatening anyone who laughs."
The first lesson?
"THAT'S FAIR!"
Actually touching the broom.
"No."
"Reader."
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
"It's literally wood."
"THAT FLOATS!"
"THAT'S THE BEST PART!"
Twenty minutes later, you'd finally agreed to hold it.
"OH MY MERLIN IT'S REAL."
"It's a broomstick."
"IT'S FLOATING WOOD, THEO!"
"Technically speaking-"
"No."
The second lesson was getting on the broom.
Which somehow took longer than expected because you'd become convinced that broomsticks had opinions.
"What if it doesn't like me?"
"..."
"..."
"...Reader."
"Yes?"
"It's a broom."
"YOU DON'T KNOW THAT FOR SURE!"
"IT LITERALLY IS A BROOM!"
Eventually, Mattheo sat down behind you on the broom.
"There. Problem solved."
"WHY ARE YOU ON THE BROOM TOO?!"
"Because if you panic and fall, I panic and fall."
"THAT'S VERY SWEET BUT ALSO INCREDIBLY STUPID!"
"Welcome to dating Slytherins."
The broom slowly lifted approximately five inches off the ground.
Silence.
"WE'RE FLYING!"
"Technically."
"WE'RE FLYING!"
"We're closer to hovering."
"I CAN SEE MY GRAVE FROM HERE!"
"Reader, we're shorter than Hagrid's boots."
The entire Quidditch pitch watched in amusement as the most feared group of Slytherins in Hogwarts spent the next three hours celebrating every tiny achievement.
"YOU MOVED TWO FEET!"
"THAT'S TWO MORE FEET THAN YESTERDAY!"
"SHE DIDN'T CRY THIS TIME!"
By the end of the afternoon, you'd managed to:
"THAT DESERVES CHOCOLATE!"
• hover approximately two feet off the ground,
• move forward without screaming,
• successfully land by yourself,
• understand roughly half of Quidditch.
And somehow...
You were smiling.
"Can we do this again next weekend?" you asked shyly.
The entire group immediately melted.
"Of course, darling."
"Really?"
"Reader," Blaise smiled softly, "you've spent months learning how to live in our world."
You tilted your head in confusion.
"What do you mean?"
"You didn't grow up with magic," Astoria smiled. "Which means we get to show you all the things we've loved our entire lives."
The entire school had expected the Slytherin Gang to hate the muggle-born transfer student.
Instead, they got eight overprotective idiots who spent their Saturdays teaching their terrified girlfriend how to sit on a flying broomstick.
Being in a poly relationship came with many advantages.
More cuddles. More dates. More movie nights.
It also came with one rather unfortunate downside.
Eight ridiculously possessive Slytherins.
The kind that could collectively decide that someone asking you to pass the salt was suspicious behavior.
───
Monday morning found you sitting in the courtyard talking to Harry Potter before Charms.
"So then Ron somehow managed to set his sleeve on fire-"
"No way!"
You laughed as Harry continued his story.
"Reader."
You looked up to find Blaise standing over the two of you, hands in his pockets.
"Oh! Hi Blaise!"
"Get up."
"What?"
"We're leaving."
"But I'm talking to Harry."
"Exactly."
Harry awkwardly looked between the two of you.
"Am I interrupting something?"
"Yes."
"No?" you answered at the same time.
"Reader," Blaise sighed, "I leave you unattended for ten minutes and somehow you've managed to find Harry Potter."
"I didn't FIND Harry Potter. He sat down."
"Even worse. That means he's actively seeking you out."
"WHAT?"
Before you could defend yourself, Draco sat down beside Harry and gave him a polite smile.
"Potter."
"Malfoy."
"Quick question."
"Okay?"
"Why are you talking to my girlfriend?"
"She's my friend?"
"Incorrect answer."
Harry blinked.
"We're literally talking about Quidditch."
"Interesting," Draco nodded. "You know who else likes Quidditch? Approximately three hundred students in this school. Go bother one of them."
"DRACO!"
"What?" he shrugged. "I'm being extremely reasonable."
"No, you're threatening Harry!"
"No. Threatening would be: Potter, if I ever catch you making her laugh again, I'll make sure your broom mysteriously disappears before your next match."
Harry stared at him.
"That's oddly specific."
"I've had time to think about it."
Blaise finally grabbed your hand.
"Come on."
"Where are we going?!"
"Literally anywhere else."
"YOU CAN'T JUST KIDNAP ME!"
"Watch me."
As the two of you walked away, Draco smiled at Harry.
"Lovely talking to you, Potter. Don't."
───
Tuesday afternoon meant Potions with Mattheo and Pansy.
Unfortunately, you'd forgotten your textbook.
"Oh no."
"What?" Mattheo asked.
"I forgot my textbook."
Before either of them could offer theirs, you turned around.
"Cho! Could I borrow your textbook for today?"
"Of course!"
Silence.
Absolute silence.
Mattheo slowly turned towards you.
"You asked who?"
"Cho?"
"Interesting."
"What's interesting?"
"You had two perfectly good significant others sitting beside you and somehow decided to ask Cho Chang."
"Because she has an extra textbook?"
"Again. Interesting."
"WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!"
Pansy immediately leaned across the table.
"Reader."
"Yes?"
"Am I ugly?"
"What?! NO!"
"Then why are you asking another girl for academic assistance when I'm sitting right here?"
"BECAUSE SHE HAD AN EXTRA TEXTBOOK!"
"And I have an extra hand to hold. Yet here we are."
Cho looked like she desperately wanted to disappear into her cauldron.
"Thank you for lending me your textbook!" you smiled.
"You have a lovely smile," Cho smiled back politely.
Silence.
Mattheo put his quill down.
"Oh absolutely not."
"What?"
"No. I'm done."
"Done with what?"
"The entire interaction."
"IT WAS TWELVE SECONDS LONG!"
"Twelve seconds too long."
Pansy gently grabbed your chin and turned your face towards her.
"No more smiling at Cho."
"WHAT?"
"Smile at me instead."
"YOU ARE BOTH INSANE!"
By the end of class:
• Mattheo had stolen your seat.
• Pansy had stolen your hand.
• Cho had unofficially been placed on the watchlist.
Neither of them regretted a thing.
───
Wednesday afternoon was spent watching Quidditch practice with Theo and Lorenzo.
Everything was going perfectly until a Ravenclaw dropped his books not too far away from where the three of you were sitting.
"Oh no!"
Before either of them could react, you'd already stood up.
"Sit down."
"What?"
"Sit."
"He dropped his books!"
"He'll pick them up."
"Not if I get there first!"
Theo quietly closed his book as he watched you happily help the poor boy.
"Interesting."
"What?" Lorenzo asked.
"Reader is once again proving that she would willingly help absolutely anyone."
The Ravenclaw smiled politely as you handed him his last piece of parchment.
"Thank you so much."
"No problem!"
"She's smiling."
"I noticed."
"She smiled at him before smiling at us when we got here."
"Statistically concerning."
The Ravenclaw laughed at something you'd said.
"Oh? So he's funny now?" Lorenzo frowned.
Apparently.
You walked back towards them with a smile.
"He was really nice!"
"No."
"What?"
"No, he wasn't."
"YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HIM!"
"Exactly. I don't like strangers talking to my girlfriend."
"He thanked me for helping him!"
"That's the bare minimum, darling. Congratulations, he has manners."
Theo nodded thoughtfully.
"Unfortunately, the standards have become dangerously low."
"You two are impossible."
"No. We're Slytherins."
───
Thursday afternoon, Pansy walked into the girls' bathroom only to find Luna and Cho giggling with you.
This was immediately classified as a national emergency.
GROUP CHAT
CODE RED.
LUNA AND CHO.
BOTH GIGGLING.
READER IS ALSO GIGGLING.
THIS IS WORSE THAN POTTER.
By the time Daphne and Astoria arrived, you'd already left for the library.
"Oh! Reader just left!" Luna smiled.
"Of course she did," Astoria sighed dramatically.
The three girls sat down opposite them.
"So..." Pansy smiled sweetly. "How exactly do you know Reader?"
"Oh! We were talking about flowers!"
"And Charms!" Cho smiled.
"How adorable."
"She's honestly the sweetest person I've ever met."
"We know," the three girls replied immediately.
"She's really affectionate too!"
Silence.
"How affectionate?" Daphne asked politely.
"Oh! She gave me a hug after my Charms presentation yesterday."
The three girls froze.
"Interesting."
"Very."
"Concerning."
Cho looked between them.
"Should we be worried?"
"No," Astoria smiled sweetly. "We're simply trying to understand why our girlfriend is out there distributing hugs like they're free samples."
"Oh!"
"She also said she'd help me revise this weekend!"
"She WHAT?"
"Reader has a terrible habit of volunteering her time," Daphne sighed. "We're trying to break it."
"She's really wonderful."
"Unfortunately," Pansy sighed dramatically, "that's her biggest flaw."
Luna tilted her head.
"Are you jealous?"
The three girls looked at one another.
"Violently," Pansy answered.
"Unreasonably," Astoria added.
"Professionally," Daphne finished.
The worst part?
Neither Luna nor Cho were flirting.
They simply existed in Reader's general vicinity.
Which, according to the Slytherin Gang, had always been more than enough reason for concern.
───
The truth was, none of them were worried that you'd ever leave them.
They were simply offended by the idea that anyone else in Hogwarts thought they were worthy of your time.
After all, why would you ever need anyone else when you already had eight jealous, dramatic and ridiculously possessive Slytherins?
Unfortunately for them, however...
You had absolutely no standards when deciding who deserved your kindness.
And that, according to the Slytherin Gang, was your biggest character flaw.

I don't know if you're requests are still open but I love your content and I do have a suggestion. If you're busy it's not a problem, you can write this when you're free and want to.
For the first one, Dating AU user has a one on one with each Syltherin gang members, whether it be one of them taking user on a date, hanging hanging out or just being in each other's presence, while the others are busy.
The second one is also a Dating AU, but it's mostly the Syltherin member being boyfriend/girlfriend's to each other, and reader if you'd like.
Hi <33
Thank you so much for your request sweetheart !💕 I hope you will like what I wrote, i definitely had a lot of fun 🤭.
People at Hogwarts had long since given up trying to understand your relationship.
Actually, scratch that.
People at Hogwarts had given up trying to understand your relationships.
Plural.
Because somehow, all nine of you had collectively decided that monogamy was overrated and that loving eight people at the same time was perfectly reasonable.
The funny thing?
It worked.
Better than anyone could've imagined.
───
"HAS ANYONE SEEN MY SWEATER?"
"Which one?"
"The black one!"
Silence.
Everyone slowly turned towards Mattheo.
"Why are you all looking at me?"
"Because you're wearing Daphne's sweater."
"And?"
"That's not your sweater."
"Neither is Reader's scarf and she's been wearing it for three weeks."
"THAT'S DIFFERENT!"
"No, it's not."
Looking around the common room, absolutely nobody was wearing their own clothes anymore.
Draco was wearing Pansy's scarf.
Astoria had stolen one of Blaise's hoodies.
Theo had long since accepted that his jumpers didn't belong to him anymore.
And Lorenzo?
Nobody was entirely sure where Lorenzo's clothes came from anymore.
"They're OUR clothes," he liked to argue.
No one could fault his logic.
───
Movie nights were perhaps the biggest challenge.
"WHOSE LAP AM I SUPPOSED TO SIT ON?!"
"WE HAVE NINE PEOPLE AND ONE SOFA!"
"This relationship has a serious design flaw."
Somehow, everyone always made it work.
Reader fell asleep on Astoria's shoulder.
Pansy braided Daphne's hair while pretending to pay attention to the movie.
Draco complained that Mattheo kept stealing the blanket.
Theo quietly fed everyone sweets he'd hidden in his pockets.
Lorenzo cried over the movie.
Blaise somehow became everyone's pillow.
───
There was also the issue of jealousy.
Or rather...
The complete lack of it.
"Aww, look at them!"
Everyone looked over to see Mattheo and Daphne asleep beside the fireplace.
"They're adorable."
"Should we cover them with a blanket?" Astoria whispered.
"Already did," Pansy smiled proudly.
"You know," Blaise laughed softly, "I don't think I've ever seen anyone in this relationship get jealous."
"Draco got jealous of Reader's stuffed Animal once."
"THAT DOESN'T COUNT!"
"YOU CALLED IT YOUR COMPETITION!"
"IT GETS MORE CUDDLES THAN I DO!"
"THAT'S BECAUSE YOU DON'T FIT IN MY LAP!"
"...Fair point."
───
The girls regularly had sleepovers without the boys.
The boys regularly went flying without the girls.
Sometimes, Theo and Draco disappeared into the library together for five hours.
Sometimes, Mattheo and Lorenzo came back from adventures that absolutely should've resulted in detention.
And somehow, nobody ever questioned it.
"Wait," a confused first year asked one afternoon, "so you're all dating each other?"
"Yes."
"Even the girls?"
"Yes."
"Even the boys?"
"Yes."
"Even-"
"Everyone," Theo interrupted. "The answer is everyone."
"Oh."
"Trust us," Pansy laughed. "It gets significantly more confusing if you think about it for too long."
───
Holidays were perhaps the funniest part of the relationship.
"WHO'S BUYING VALENTINE'S GIFTS THIS YEAR?!"
"ALL OF US."
"THAT'S EIGHT GIFTS EACH!"
"CORRECT."
"THIS RELATIONSHIP IS EXPENSIVE!"
Draco considered Valentine's Day his personal Olympics.
Mattheo preferred handmade gifts.
Pansy coordinated matching jewellery for everyone.
Astoria cried over sentimental presents.
Theo always somehow managed to find the most thoughtful gift imaginable.
Blaise wrapped presents beautifully.
Lorenzo bought things solely because "they reminded me of you!"
And Reader?
Reader accidentally bought twelve gifts because she kept finding things everyone would like.
───
There was one thing everyone agreed on, however.
No matter how confusing or chaotic things became...
You'd all somehow managed to create something wonderful.
Nine people.
Nine completely different personalities.
Nine completely different relationships.
And yet somehow...
Everything fit together perfectly.
Because at the end of the day, love didn't have to fit neatly into a little box.
Sometimes...
It looked like nine teenagers arguing over whose turn it was to pick the movie while sharing three blankets, seven mugs of hot chocolate, and approximately forty-seven inside jokes.
