we are not planning on revealing the war in the near future, since we still need a better understanding of the og world. it is surely NOT based on true history — we don't want to allude to any real countries or events, just explore the universal effects of modern warfare. you may see a lot of similarities to the two world wars, but we prefer those to be a common route of human development: for instance, wars often follow the industrial revolution due to unfair distribution of wealth. anyway, it's a fictional world that happens to mirror real historical patterns, not a direct allegory. thank you for reading, i hope that makes sense💖

it is! although it’s not the direct reason why we made the au, we are indeed deeply influenced by off. in fact i was playing off for the first time at lulu ’s place as we were designing the first 2 characters(rouxls and tenna). i’m glad the connection is recognized😙, i hope off gets more fans.
