Tell me your secrets and ask me your questions ❥ 4/∞
henry had never been more nervous in his entire life. as his green eyes scanned avery’s expression, trying to gauge her reaction and imagine what her response would be, he realized just how deep into this he was. if the girl said no, he was going to be crushed — the realization that someone else had that much power over him was scary, but for some reason he trusted avery with his life. his grin was spread from ear to ear when avery said he already was her home, and he wrapped his own arms around her protectively, burying his nose into her pretty blonde hair as he took a deep, relieved breath. “god, you don’t know how nervous i’ve been about this.” henry admitted, a low chuckling leaving his throat. “i… i really wanted you to say yes. i think we’re gonna have a good life here, kitten.” the male pressed his lips to the top of her head, smiling softly. “come on, tell me what are your plans with this place.” henry broke their hug apart and pulled avery to the floor with him, laying down first and spreading his arm so she could rest her head on it. “it’s all yours to decorate and shit, i don’t care. i want you to be happy here and i’m sure i will too.”
"did you honestly think i would say no?” avery smiled, kissing his lips quickly. “i am sure you know by now that i would do anything for you.” as soon as they were laying on the floor in the center of the empty apartment, avery rested her hand on his chest. “i’ve never had my own space.” she admitted, though she was positive at this point that henry already knew that. “i’m so excited. honestly, we could just live like this with no furniture and i’d be happy.” a giggle passed her lips and she sighed contently. “but we should probably get some, maybe we can look this weekend?” the walls were blank and avery already couldn’t wait to cover them in memories, memories of her and henry. this was going to be their home now, this was a symbol of their relationship. “but if i am going to live here with you, i am going to help with the rent.” she looked over at him. “how much is the deposit? i can give you some right now, i’ve got it in my purse.” something told the girl that her boyfriend was going to tell her no but she would fight until he agreed. the last thing she wanted to do was make him provide for her. besides, she made enough to afford half of the rent.
