“I didn’t realize bodies rolling away would be something I had to expand to.”

“Even better. I could use some good old destruction, if you’re up for it.”

“And you’re probably going to die. I see no need to sugarcoat.”

“Well, at least we could be. The offer stands.”

“No, I don’t think so.”

“Oh, please, nobody would blame you. If anything, they would be grateful, and it would all, all be my pleasure. As it is to meet you. I’m Hunter Twill.”

“Just call me Dr. Montenegro. No need to be familiar.” 

“Well, keep me in mind. I meant it. I would love to help a friend if needed.”

“We’re not friends.”

“What if I pinkey promised nobody would find out? I can be very discreet for the right people and I’m actually damn good with favors. What do you say?”

“Uh, still no. I might require those services later...but not right now.”

“Who would possibly want to take it, though?”

“You tell me.”

Still in disbelief, Lola shot the woman a nasty glare. “What? Do you think being nonchalant about something so serious is cute? Because it isn’t. You aren’t edgy.”

“Not about edginess, I’m just being honest. They die a lot.”

“Are you telling me you let some district scum steal one of your cadavers?” Juno’s noise wrinkled at the thought. “I would have expected more from you, Montenegro.”

“I went and got a sandwich, sue me Vanderbilt.”

“Honestly that’s the weirdest sentence I’ve ever heard.”

“Well, next time you ask a question, expand your horizons on expected answers.”

“No one is forcing you to be here, feel free to leave.”

"Well, I like to observe primates in their natural habitat. It’s why I’m fond of this place. It’s a freaking zoo.”

“It was a joke. I didn’t touch your boyfriend, but, we might be able to find you a new one. Do you want me to kill myself? For you, I would.”

“Cute. No, I really don’t have time to deal with peacekeepers and questions. Thanks for the offer.” She snarled with a simpering expression.

“Then the applicants must’ve been truly shocking.” she replied with a roll of her eyes. “Why are you experimenting? Planning for life as a psychopath?”

“Hm, already living one apparently. I’m trying to learn how to best repair acid burns on the already decaying skin. So that everyone can go home pretty to their parents.”
