He thinks he's tough and can heal the land... teach him how to love for the first time in his life and then take everything away from him piece by piece while letting him struggle just enough to think he can get it back. ALSO do some brand new shit to his body LOL
I played Pathologic 2 and I loved it... I think I really really love it actually. It's just like the first one in the best way possible. It was like getting to play it for the first time again. I do miss the soundtrack from P1 but this was so good in so many ways. Daniil and Burakh are both so good. I love the feeling of desperation and dread the games induce, it really gets you in there more than almost any other game for me. The stress and confusion, just so great. I love how gamey they are, being able to go into any house and having unnamed NPCs have "classes", while playing up the theatric nature of games. The plague and how brutal it is really grounds it all so much despite all that that it just feels so cohesive in the end no matter how many surreal, gamey and meta-narrative elements appear.
I do feel Artemy sounds a lot more like Daniil than I thought from how he is written but I suppose he's also become a bit of a city boy himself. I did like having a close relationship with the steppe people though and it added a lot, and also sassing Daniil is great. Amazing game, amazing characters.
