Never Lose Hope, Good Things Are Yet To Come

Robert chuckled. “How are you doing, Ashley?” He asked her. “You excited for the upcoming Friendsgiving?”

“I’m doing pretty good, thanks for asking Rob.  How about you?” she smiled.  “I always love Friendsgiving.  Everyone together eating good food.  I can’t wait!”

“Well at least you saw some clips.” Henry teased. “I have no clue what Tom Tom is, but let’s go.”

“Tom Tom is a Lisa Vanderpump restaurant she opened with Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz.  It’s just down the street from SUR in West Hollywood.”

wow.. i flipped through the channels last night and i need to correct myself. it’s not gac, it’s gaf which is great american family. i think that’s the competition for the hallmark channel if i’m honest. people who did the christmas movies on the hallmark channel like danica mckellar and candace cameron bure all struck deals with that other company and left hallmark. black friday is useless, there’s no great deals. so i’m with you i’m decorating and backing.

Hmm...is that part of the ABC Family Channel family?  I know they do holiday movies too.  Wait, Danica and Candice aren’t doing Hallmark movies anymore?  Black Friday is ridiculous.  I’d rather wait for Cyber Monday and be able to shop in my pajamas.  Hey, you want to get together on Black Friday and decorate the house?

“Now, that’s an interesting movie title,” Lily says, curious about the movie. Hearing Ashley describe it, she was intrigued,” Wow, that actually sounds interesting. I can’t wait to see it when it’s released. Did you already filming or are you going to be filming it soon? I have to say, I think all your movie roles after Pretty Little Liars have been interesting. I love how you’ve tested waters. Private Property by the way was quite the movie. Not what I was expecting, either.” Listening intently, Lily smiles at Ashley, “I’d love to try a sample if it’s ok. Honestly, it sounds like a lot of fun to make a perfume. Do you think this is something you will continue to do down the line, or will you like venture into clothes or something else?” 

“We start filming this week and I can’t wait.  Aww, thank you.  I like taking on the challenging roles that mess with your mind.  Private Property was so much fun to film, especially since I got to work with my boy Shiloh again.  He’s so great to work with.”  Ashley finished her coffee and smiled.  “Absolutely.  Come by any time and check it out.  I’ve been working on this uni-sex fragrance for two years.  Depending on how this one does, I may do another one, but I’m not sure.  I’ve still got my sunglasses line to keep me busy though.”

“Hey I thought I was your ride or die.” He pouted playfully.” She better be your second ride or die benzo .” He teased as he joked with the blonde. “ well you’re not as complicated as you think, you’re quite easy to get along with .”

“Hey, you’re my ride or die too.” She said, giving him a fake pout.  “A girl needs more than one ride or die.”  She couldn’t hold a straight face and burst out laughing.  “What?  I’m not complicated?  Well there goes my entire sense of self.”

“I haven’t.” Kat said with a laugh. “My first studio album came out in 2015 and it’s called Roxbury Drive.”

“Wait, you have an album out?  Seriously?  How did I not know this?  I have to check this out.”

“Yeah, I have always loved singing so to be able to get to show that I have pipes was a lot of fun.”

“Well you totally killed it.  Why did you wait so long to share your musical talent with the world?”

“Oh the lead Bella, oh okay I remember now.” He chuckled.” Nah no one will put up with you like I will, I’m probably the only one who understands you benzo.” He smirked and chuckled.” I mean besides Tyler of course. You get my point.”

“You were starting to really worry me there for a minute.  Everyone knows who Kristen is.  As she’s my ride or die so you’ll meet her soon.  You’re going to love her.” Ashley assured him.  “Awww, that’s very true though.  You’re one of the few people who just get me.”

“I’m sorry Kristen who ? “ He was confused by the name as he furrowed his brows.” Who is she exactly ?” He questioned. “ Well if I don’t put up with your crazy ass who else will?” He teased the blonde with a playful smirk.

“You serious right now?  Kristen Stewart!  She played Bella in the Twilight movies.  I know you know who she is.” Ashley chuckled.  “That is true.  Sometimes I think you and Tyler are the only ones who will put up with me.”

Vanessa quickly wiped her eyes and nodded. “Thank you, Ashley.“ She said to her with a small smile and hugged her. “It was just shitty to come and find out about and I don’t even know how I’m going to explain any of this to River.”

“We’ve all got your back.” Ashley assured the other woman, rubbing her back as they hugged.  “It’s a very shitty thing to have to deal with and sadly it’s more common than you think.  All you can do is be honest with River.  He’s still young enough that he’ll move on rather quickly.  Just say something like ‘Daddy needs to go away and focus on himself, so you’re going to stay with mommy.  But daddy loves you and will miss you.’  Or something like that.” Ashley shrugged.

“We did. It was honestly like none of us had ever stopped filming with each other.”

“That’s amazing.  You always hear stories about casts who stay connected and are able to pick back up as if they were never apart.  It’s great to know it can actually happen and isn’t just a myth.”

“Oh that is very true. Hard work always pays off in the end though.” Dinah said. “Oh really? Girl, that’s gotta suck. Well, how close are you to Christmas? Like super close or is your birthday early in the month where you don’t get the combo birthday-Christmas gift?”

“My birthday is a week before Christmas so it tends to get wrapped in with all the festivities.” the actress chuckled. “My parents always did their best at trying to keep them separate when I was a kid though.  I know a lot of kids with December birthdays feel jipped out of their birthday, but I never did.”

“That’s an interesting working title. What’s it about? Are you allowed to say?” Lily asked curiously. “I did! I always loved your style, and I’m curious to smell your fragrance. I love supporting my housemates. Everyone is so talented and just deserves the support. How was it, making your first perfume? Was the process fun?”

“We actually just got a title!  It’s called ‘Good Side of a Bad Man’.  It follows the story of Charles “Pretty Boy” Floyd, who grew up as a poor farmer to become one of the most notorious criminals of the Depression era.  I play Ruby, Charles’s wife.” Ashley beamed.  She was really excited about the new project.  “I’m excited for people to experience it.  I had so much fun creating it.  Went through many different mixtures before I found the perfect one.  I have a sample of it in my room if you want a sneak peak.”

they will never make another channel despite how many they have now. and they have competition with that other channel now.. gac or something like that. halloween isn’t even a big thing in my mind. like you’re not gathering family together to spend time with them so why for the need to go all out on the decorations. though some houses look pretty awesome. the day after thanksgiving is where it’s at for christmas decorating. that’s my time to thrive in life!

I think that’s a total lost opportunity.  Wait, what’s GAC?  I’ve never heard of it.  I love Halloween, so I tend to go all out with decorating.  Yes!  I don’t do the whole black Friday thing so I spend the day decorating and getting a jump on holiday baking.

“To be fair, it’s all thanks to the fans who really loved me as Clark and Superman.” Henry said with a smile. “Cool, where do you want to go?”

“Don’t hate me, but I never actually saw any of the Superman movies.  I’ve seen clips online though, and you absolutely kill it.” the blond shrugged.  “Let’s go to Tom Tom in WeHo.  They’ve got great drinks.”

“Way too long.” He chuckled and nodded” Robert seems like a chill guy from what i can tell from interviews of him that i seen” He said.”You know i’m an pretty easy guy to get along with.”

“Yeah, he’s pretty chill.  He used to date my girl Kristen, years ago.  But I haven’t spent much time with him.” the blonde admitted.  “That is very true, its why we get along so well.  Plus, you put up with my crazy ass.”
