- He never really wears the poncho Neptune gave to him and the others, Neptune himself understands that Triton may not be comfortable with it so instead they agreed on him wearing a little badge with a trident on the sleeve of his jacket.

- May never admit it but he truly enjoys watching children's shows with the little moons. They're VERY entertaining.

- Triton has never really cared about what others would think of his appearance, so self care was never something he bothered to do. His hair has knots everywhere, his pants are dirty and scratched here, and there, his eyebags are worryingly big.

- Complementing the last headcanon: it's ironic that his hair is cut with the grace of a newborn with kitchen scissors since he knows how to work with hair very well. The kids love to ask him to do some cool hairstyles on them, and he appreciates having something to do with his hands.

-His whole body cracks like a light stick, he wakes up from a nap and gets concerned looks from everyone around him.

- Close with titania in the way two cousins who see each other every second weekend are. They probably take turns babysitting the moons.

- His eyes are creepily black and empty in the way a black hole might be described. (This is once again inspired by the way leopard seals look because they're so creepy sometimes)

- Refuses to wear anything on top of his jacket, so instead wears 40 shirts and sweaters below it.

- Probably has that line right next to his eye that people get when they cry a lot.

- Can't stay still. Genuinely, you can ask him to stay completely still, and he will, but after a minute or so, he stars swinging back and forth on his feet.

- Dissapears a lot without telling anyone just so he can get some time alone.

- Triton may look like he has a lot of patience, but he does not, bullshit from anyone that isn't the kids is NOT tolerated in the slightest.

- From time to time he goes deep into the kuiper belt and just starts screaming and cussing and kicking asteroids or just starts crying. Then he goes back like nothing happened.

- Sometimes wonders what his life was like before Neptune, often get dreams and visions about it but it's never enough to fully form a story. It keeps him up at night and gives him a lot of headaches.

-The kuiper belt has always been cold and lonely, but when triton and ctimine were born all they knew was a cold deeper than just temperature, a cold that made their core ache, one that made triton specifically want to scream at the sun that they were there and that they were dying.

When he suggested going to talk with the sun, ctimine quickly turned it down, they didn't know what was out there, or if the sun would even accept them as one of his own. The star giving them life and actually loving them were two different things. So they roamed around for thousands of years until the word of a tiny dwarf planet living in the asteroid belt reached their ears.

The perfect opportunity to go and explore beyond the place they called home. It took a lot of convincing but finally ctimine accepted and they started their journey. After finding that little dwarf they could talk with the sun, the three of them, they would finally meet who gave them life in the first place, be acknowledged and warm their cores long frozen.

Now some bonus pluto x Charon x triton headcanons!!!!!!!!!!

- Triton knows how to cook, Charon knows how to bake, pluto knows how to get kicked out of the kitchen for eating everything.

- Triton looooovvvveeeessss watching pluto and Charon dance around each other, sometimes instead of dancing they curl up and gaze at the stars as they talk about what's out there.

- At first they started jokingly flirting with each other in Dungeons & dwarf planet's, then they started to hangout just the three of them, and it ended with a confession and a new partner.

- They have sleepovers that last hundreds of earth days.
