a sneeze adrift the crisp breeze

I'm still around. I've just been really busy irl. life's been nuts lately and I'm struggling to keep up. I'll try to post more cute stuff eventually.

does your vanilla partner ever say things that make you wonder if they're getting into snz? sometimes my partner will say things that make me quirk a brow and ask, "did I turn you into a convert, baby?" he'll say things like, "you get really horny when you're sick and it's kinda hot" when he thinks about how, in my head, bedrest also always equals gratification. or he'll talk about how he wants to tie me up to a chair and tickle my nose. or how pitifully adorable I am with a stuffy, itchy, and sneezy nose. it just makes me wonder if he's starting to see the nuances that are the appeal of it.

when you have one of those sneezes so itchy, helpless, and desperate that whoever is near offers the most tender "bless you." their sympathy is almost palpable as you incessantly sniffle and groan afterwards. you know they feel awful for you for having caught cold again.

I'm an actual cartoon character whenever I've been out in the rain. I always start shivering, sniffling liquidy, and spraying myself with wet sneezes. I'm getting over a bit of a head cold, but I'm sneezy all over again since I had to run errands in the rain. something tells me that I need to tuck my tissue box in with me again. my nose is cold and runny and tickly...

an elder emo catches a nasty head cold just before Halloween--his favorite holiday. he moodily sits curled up on the couch. his nose is miserably pink and his eyes have even darker circles than usual. his usually beautiful porcelain skin is even more pale than usual, though his cheeks are ever so slightly rosy. he's got a silly Halloween critter shaped pillow hugged against his chest. each sniffle and sneeze ellicts an annoyed groan. his partner decided to come over to keep him company. they sit nearby, offering tissues regularly. the drone of some classic horror flick comes from the TV that they're at least somewhat watching. they can both practically act out the film with how often they've both watched it. so, the partner's attention is almost solely on their sick lover. they cast their eyes over now and again just to see if he's looking ok enough. his eyes look unfocused like he's staring through the TV. he only seems to get alert whenever a tickle makes him launch forward with a harsh sneeze. in his delirium he's unable to fully cover his sneezes, so his partner already expects to catch his cold. they just keep offering tissues, wrap the blanket more so around him, and occasionally insist on taking his temperature or offering medicine and tea. somehow, through the misery, he's fine with the fact that that his Halloween turned out like this. he has his partner and they're cuddling and watching one of his favorite flicks. maybe it's nice to not go to some wild party now and again he thinks as he starts to drift off.

I've been around a coworker all week who's had the sneeziest cold (the kind that leaves the nose and cheeks pink) and he's fuckin awful about not covering. I've been really sneezy myself, have been blowing my nose to the point of pink nostrils, and have a scratchy throat and slight cough. think it's safe to say that I caught his cold. ick.

wrapping your legs around someone's shoulders and forcibly pulling their wet mouth onto your crotch while they're pathetically sneezing.

why does work have to exist? can't I just be a cute sickie for a living? I wanna just stay cuddled up in my blankets.

I had such a hard time trying to fall asleep last night. when I finally did drift off I only stayed asleep for a few hours--until 5 am. my head has a strange, dull ache sort of feeling in it. my ears are ringing. I'm coughing a good bit already and am very sniffly. not wanting to hurt worse, I tried so hard to halfway stifle an itchy sneeze. I pulled my shirt out a little and ducked my nose behind it to let it out. my efforts for a painless sneeze were pretty pointless since my chest feels so gunked up. I was hoping to be at least a little better today. guess I'm not. I wanna just scrunch up and go back to sleep. last night I literally fell asleep with a hand on the tissue box I put in my bed. this cold or whatever I have has just been working me over.

I woke up and I'm not looking so good. flushed cheeks against sallow skin and heavy eye bags. I'm extremely congested, have an ache in my temples, my lungs feel a bit full and sore, and my cough sounds awful. definitely a rest day for me. guess I'm more sick than I thought. I'm dreading when I have to sneeze bc ik it's gonna hurt really bad. between my sore throat and chest I just know it's gonna be rough to sneeze.. thankfully I don't have a fever, though!

it's been an evening of laying on the couch with a pillow hugged to my chest. I've been sniffling every few seconds and getting into some barking coughing fits. my sneezes hurt my chest. my eyes have been heavy almost like fighting these symptoms has actually exhausted me. I keep falling asleep. I've just been listening to the clock and the rain and crickets. I haven't even had the energy to start up a game or toss on a show. I'm just...tired. I think my body is trying to get me to go to bed so it can try and recover. I was trying to tell myself I've had just allergies, but whenever I cough I get met with an, "ow. are you ok? how are you feeling?" and my big sneezes are being met with sympathetic blesses. guess the people in my life have decided I definitely caught a cold again. I type all this while fighting the most intense tickle in my nose...
