Autumn Crisp Wind Archer

It was nice to have a small break from what exactly he was meant to do. As he calmly stopped and looked up to the trees above him. Wind had a rare small smile on his face taking a breath ,not yet realizing the presence of another legendary.

Of course once he saw the other, it didn’t snap in his mind who it was. Instead… well he just hid behind a small rock hoping not to be seen… right?

Wind did hear the slight noise a movement as he looked down his calm smile gone. Looking around for where the source of the noise came from. Posture ,wind archer’s,facial expression it’s still his own but the only thing he’s became a autumn version of himself. So of course he wasn’t fully recognizable,as he asked out loud “Is anyone there?”

He raced behind the bush desperately trying to control his flaming hair from setting the foliage on fire. Fire Spirit was also trying to get a good look at who this way. He thought this cookie seemed familiar but he couldn’t put his tongue to it. It was also clear where he was as his hair gave off a faint glow in the slightly shaded forest area they were in. It was clear he was in the shrub.

Wind did notice as he approached the shrub the one that was glowing. “I know you’re there,come out now.” He was being cautious cause he wasn’t to sure who was in the shrub but there was a few ideas on who.

Fire Spirit froze a bit before sighing and got on out before he could set the shrub on fire. “Alright fine ya got me. Hey look man I was just relaxing by that rock over here and then you showed up. I don’t know who you are though.”

“Oh it’s just you Fire Spirit.” Wind muttered softly as he said “It’s me Wind Archer. If you take a closer look, it’s really just my outfit and that I’m basically fall theme for some reason “

He raised a brow at that and went ahead to circle the cookie and observe everything about him. Once it did click, he looked pretty confused. “W-Windy? How… why are you… w-what happened? You’re so… colorful… wait no colorful but the colors are more to the brown scale of it but you get what I’m saying.”

“Yes I get what you’re saying, also I’m not exactly sure why it happened, but a few days ago i was normal then over the few days,my colours Bloched and faded then changed to these browns with a little bit of orange.” Wind tired to explain though he did seem slightly confused himself on why this happened to him.

Wind was mostly focused on his own reflection until he noticed within the water the tree and there was someone on it? Instinctively he turned around, cursing he left his bow at home for today as he looked up to the tree.

“A bed please! Oh my god I really need a new bed! I’ve been sleeping on this flat rock slab with like one pillow and that’s it.” He exclaimed now seeming to become excited.

“Alright sure, I’ll make a few pillows and a blanket as well, though it would be easier to make it at your place…so we’re not stuck moving it to there from here but I can make the pillows and blankets here.”

“Yeah sure thing! Hope ya don’t mind the temperature in the valley and all. It gets kind of toasty in the cave as well but I’ve found a way to keep it somewhat cool.”

“I don’t mind it’s all fine.” Wind says softly as he decided to give the other a extremely small smile.

“I mean alright then. Don’t get all annoyed if ya get too hot.” He lied back down on the couch before continuing, “So yeah we can get started with that whenever you feel like it.”

“I won’t be complaining and Alright well it’s gonna take a few days to get everything I need.” Wind replies as he was thinking why was he even doing this. Sure it was a hobby but he never been expecting to share it with Fire Spirit.

“Thanks, I had to take a while to build it in between being the guardian of the forest… so yeah.” Wind says as he motions Fire Spirit to follow him inside as he took off his only pair of shoes not liking to wear them very much.

He raced on inside and immediately began to look around at anything that caught his eye which was just about everything. “Shit you have a couch with actual cushions too?”

“Yeah, I do everything here is just like a normal home….just with the add ons like if we go to the deck to the tree house add on extra bed room over there with other things”

“Yooo can I have a few things like couch or a tv it a rug?” Eventually he calmed down and took a seat.

“You don’t have any of those?” Wind asks as he took a seat he never had been to Fire Spirit’s place either so he wouldn’t know.

“Well… I mean… I don’t exactly live in the dragon palace. I should but I don’t. I mainly live in an underground cave with some lighting from above. It’s not too bad. Just a little… rocky.”

“Well I guess I can make you a couch and a few things ..” Wind said as he honestly didn’t mind making this house and the things in it besides the tv he just didn’t use.

“Wait you… y-you would?” He asked looking pretty shocked by the offer. “I mean it’s fine really I don’t wanna make you go through more work just for me and all.” Fire Spirit looked around once more before mumbling, “Unless you really wanna make me some stuff.”

“I would…it’s a nice past time whenever I’m stuck alone with nothing to do so….I don’t mind.” Wind says as he looks to Fire Spirit Being honest with the other legendary.

He eventually did nod in agreement and smiled softly at the other looking a little flattered by the offer. “T-Thanks Windy. It really does mean a lot to me.” More or less Fire Spirit was Just stunned by the fact Wind Archer would even offer this. Maybe he had been a bit too hard on how he judged him. Hmm.

“No problem I guess...”Wind replies looking away as he said “what kind of things do you want,couch,bed,chair?” As he knew he hasn’t always been the nicest to Fire Spirit thought doesn’t mean he couldn’t be nice.

“I agree with that…well I guess you can come to my place then for now if you want to hang around.” It was very awkward for him to try and invite Fire Spirit over as he looked away slightly.

“Y’know I don’t think I’ve ever been over to your place. Yeah sure Windy I don’t mind. Damn why you being kind to me for once? You sure you ain’t like the twin brother?” He laughed again.

“I can take my offer back ,so don’t push it, plus you’re offering to be nice enough to help out abit with my situation even if you don’t know what to do…” vague reasons but that was Wind for sure as he motion Fire Spirit to follow.

“I mean I’m not a total asshole. Of course I’d try to help and all. I’m just surprised you’re even letting me get in a five mile radius of ya. I mean yah I know how much you hate me anyways so…” he trailed off not wanting to push the thought further.

“Like I said I can change my mind at any moment,also just because I’m letting you know where I live and having you come over doesn’t mean show up when you like either.” As he started to lead the way to his home.

“Psh you know I’m going to now. I do what I want Windy boy. You’re gonna have to convince me to not come on over now.” He kept on laughing giving him a bit of a mocking look.

Wind grumble already regretting it but he has given up agruing at this point as he stayed silent continuing walking.

He only smirked in victory and kept on walking beside him. “Hmm y’know, never realized how nice this forest place is. Then again, well I haven’t been in these areas for a while.”

“The forest is a beautiful place, every little part, I know every inch of this place by now.” As soon Wind Archer started going off path as his home wasn’t in plain sight it took some time to get to it.

“You practically are the forest by now haha and I’d like to get to know every inch of that.” He shoves Wind Archer to the side a little still just messing around with him.

Wind Archer rolled his eyes at that as just continued walking after abit they reach what look to be only vines against a rock but pulling it away there was a opening to get through “go through there , my home is on the other side.”

He nodded and slid right on through the opening before landing on the ground on the other side and looked around from where he was at.

There was a House just being held up abit above the ground. Pretty big and very nice looking and then off to the side connected to the deck was a small stair wood ladder with little add on living areas to it. As Wind was now beside Fire Spirit saying “Well this is my home.”
