Hiya! Long time no speak!! I've not been active on tumblr as often but I do want to change that.
As for Ran being treated like a trophy wife, I don't think anything in canon has changed to show me she isn't.
She's still a prize for him at the end of his journey. Every appearance nowadays is to showcase how good a wife and mother she will make for him when he returns to normal.
Her writing is still misogynistic as hell.

Fridays are short for me, I work 6 hours and I usually clock out somewhere around 1pm. I came in at 7:07am and I did plan on staying like 10 minutes later just to make up some time I lost earlier that month. But at 1:07pm on the dot a coworker sent me an email, and I just said "nope, that's a Monday problem" and left.
You really need to do that sometimes.
Yup, and I'm learning not to feel guilty about it either. Their lack of staffing is not my issue, I'm just a common worker, not a manager.

I wanted to differentiate between what fictional age gaps I find problematic irl (none) versus what I would consider "problematic" in-universe. But thinking about it I realized that even that would be "none" lol
I mean it does depend on in-universe rules, human x human is operating under different rules than human x vampire or human x alien etc, so there would always be nuance anyway
But eh. One of my ships is 17 x 30 and that's like. Fine to me. Who cares. It's hot even. One is more experienced than the other.
So all your old staff have complaints about a certain manager and now the new guy who has worked a couple of shifts notices the manager is a piece of work as well so what do you do as the boss?
A) Actually review this manager's behaviour to see why everyone under him seems to have an issue with him.
B) Fire the new guy who off-handedly insulted him to another coworker, who sadly happened to be related to him and the only one who doesn't have issue with him.
