kind of crazy that the sun is the closest thing we have to an unholy seething vortex of magical energy, a pulsating orb that is periodically ripped by screaming flares that lash us with incredible ferocity from a hundred million miles away, and we're like mmm what a nice day! 😊
one of my favorite Sun Facts is that if sound could be transmitted through the vacuum of space the intensity of sound power emitted from the sun that reached the earth would be roughly as intense a noise as a jet airplane taking off a couple hundred meters away. The Sun is really loud!
Another one of my favorite Sun Facts is that the actual nuclear fusion occurs in roughly the innermost 25% by radius and the actual energy output is on the order of the amount produced just by your body keeping itself warm. But the Sun is very very big and very very old so it gets very very hot despite how absurdly slow fusion is.
I love how the sun is in a constant battle between the gravity of its size trying to collapse and the power of nuclear fusion enacts an equal outward pressure to keep it stable.
I love that once it runs out of hydrogen it starts fusing helium and keeps going up the periodic table until it hits iron. Once it fuses Iron, it’s dead. It can no longer fuse in a way that outputs energy, fusing Iron eats energy. Some stars die a slow death like ours will and then collapse into white dwarfs.
I think we all love when a star is big enough it creates a blast so strong that the heavier elements on the periodic table are created including gold and silver.
And best of all the dust left behind is the building blocks for planets. Our solar system exists because of the stars that died before us. But also stars created the elements used in our body and thus:

i know folks are gonna call me a pedo for this one, but i grew up seeing my mom and grandma naked. they had health issues and at times needed care and help showering. and i truly think more kids need to be shown the nonsexual reality of naked women at a young age. there is nothing sexual about my grandmothers breasts, they were simply body parts. more women die of heart attacks because people are too afraid of breasts to do real chest compressions, because they are scared to touch their breasts. the sexualization of our bodies literally kills us. i need people to be more normal about naked bodies and i'm 100% serious.

I will concede, in this specific circumstance, it makes more sense
proud victim of the tumblr accent. it's fading out of public consciousness as the tik tok accent takes precedence; a linguistic evolution that makes the tumblr accent 85% funnier to unsuspecting civilians. it's like releasing a disease on a non-inoculated population. coughing baby versus hydrogen bomb.
once my therapist said I used very uncommon and creative phrases and adjectives and i just did not have the heart to tell that Old Lady From A Foreign Small Town that I was translating tumblr speech into our language. so I was like yeah... must be from the books I read...
