i think my main problem with how people talk about ai is that people focus so hard on the things that dont matter instead of the things that do. like im gonna be honest i dont really give a shit about copyright or art being "soulless" or whatever

it truly is fucked that someone can say "i dont like this thing, but despite my best efforts i cant think of a convincing enough reason to oppose it" and people will interpret that as "i love this thing i cant get enough of this thing" because the person in question is a trans woman. and then that means it was okay to underpay her years ago. its all just so fucked.
