“yeah,you could say a special someone inspired it,” jae said, his gaze moving from dasan’s camera to his face, staring intently, hoping the other got the hint. he grinned, “thanks.”

dasan fiddled the the buttons on his camera and began viewing this pictures he took just now of the boy. hearing the jae’s words, he looked up at him from his camera towards him, getting to what he was trying to hint at. “i- oh? r-really?” the smaller male stumbled over his words.

jae smiled and nodded, “yeah, i’ve been working on it a while, since that dance competition we met at,” he said. he shook his head, “no, don’t delete them, send them to me, i wanna post them to my instagram.”

‘ wow, that’s pretty impressive. it’s cool. ’ dasan smiled before nodding at his response about the pictures. ‘ yeah, i can send them to you. i’ll put it on a file and forward it to you. ’ he spoke, putting the camera back to the camera bag.

listen, ain’t nobody got time for that math bullshit. i rather just copy of the smart kid in the class. 

math? what’s that? sometimes you copy off of me even though half of my answers are wrong.

jae looked up at the sound of clapping, a grin spreading across his face as he spotted dasan. he jumped off the stage and made his way over to the other, and he spotted the camera, “hey, thanks. were you taking pictures of me?”

watching as the taller boy made his way over to dasan, he smiled and nodded. ‘ no problem. did you write that yourself? ’ he questioned before slowly nodding about the pictures. ‘ yeah, i was. i promise i’m not weird or creepy or anything. you’re just very photogenic. i can delete them if you want me to .’ dasan shrugged before picking his camera back up.

it really is but that’s why i copy off someone in my class or something.

true, but you can lay around longer without worrying about it.

Jae was alone in the auditorium. He had been working on a song that he wrote, almost completely in Korean, an experiment on his part. He finished the backing track in his home producing studio and loaded it onto his phone, which he plugged into the sound system. He wanted to work on a dance to go along with the song as well. So, he cued up the song and got into his starting pose and started to sing along to the music and move to the song. “neoneun nae salme dashi tteun haetbit eorin shijeol nae kkumdeure jaerim moreugesseo i gamjeongi mwonji hokshi yeogido kkumsogin geonji.”

dasan had just finished his classes for the day and was planning on working on his photography. he passed by the auditorium to hear instrumentals and a familiar voice singing in korean. opening auditorium door, he poked his head through to find jae on the stage. korean was dasan’s first language besides english so he understood all the lyrics. with his backpack slung over his shoulder and his camera bag on the other, he quietly moved to one of the seats near the front of the stage and watched jae intently. he then began opening his camera bag and took his his canon. fixing up the settings and turning the flash off, he snapped a few photos of the boy performing his heart out. he smiled before clapping his hands together. ‘ that was amazing. you’re really good. ’

“Homework is lame, you shouldn’t do it.”

Do it now, then you can be lazy for the rest of the day.

but that means getting up from my bed and actually doing it. the effort.
