Hi, I’ve never laughed as hard in my life as I did at the idea that you could kill someone by blowing air at them if they have the tiniest of cuts. That’s not how cuts or air work.
Do I even need to debunk that? Have you ever had a cut before? Did you die? Your cut was surrounded by air the entire time. Congratulations, myth busted.
Don’t shoot very high-pressure air at people, especially not inside people, because if the stars align and the air is under enough pressure then the force of the air can hurt them (think like how you can injure someone with a water cannon but not a tap).
But air going into your veins in most circumstances is not actually much of a risk… especially not via a tiny cut. The germs in the air is why your cuts close themselves up as fast as they can, not the air itself.

A large amount of air quickly entering your blood stream, and not being broken up by you, can cause trouble in the same sort of way that a blood clot can… but a teeny tiny air bubble in your saline drip (as a nurse explained to me once when I was on one in hospital) is harmless.
As for blowing air into the vagina… if I was to say the percentage chance that it would happen, I’d actually discover tumblr’s character limit putting so many 0s after the decimal point.

Oh, and the reason it’s occasionally briefly mentioned in pregnancy books?

A dude would have to seal off your vagina so the air didn’t escape, blow exceptionally hard, you’d have to be pregnant or menstruating, Mercury would have to be in retrograde, and eight different gods would have to sign your death warrant. Since I don’t know of many guys who like to seal up a bleeding vagina with their lips, I’m guessing that “it will never happen” is why it’s not in everyday sex ed - not just because the risk is slimmer than my goal weight, but also because no dude is going to do that. Also they probably don’t want to fearmonger… unlike tumblr.
I guess it gets a brief mention in pregnancy stuff since the placenta and blood vessels both make you a little more at risk… and by a little I mean that maybe my list of 0s would now end just before tumblr’s character limit.
