Reservation forms for the 2018-2019 AUPresses Book, Jacket, & Journal Show traveling exhibition are due tomorrow, August 1.
The 2018 AUPresses Book, Jacket, and Journal Show will hit the road, traveling to all the presses requesting that the Show visit their campus, from September 2018 to June 2019. (The list of selected entries can be found on the AUPresses website here.)
Judging for the 2018 Book, Jacket, and Journal Show took place in January at the AUPresses New York City office. This year, 258 books, 7 journals, and 375 jacket and cover designs were submitted for a total of 644 entries. The jurors selected 49 books, 1 journal, and 53 jackets and covers as the very best examples of university press design.
AUPresses will have five sets of the show for five regional routes (one full set per region). The form to schedule the Show at your press for a two-week (Monday to following Friday) period is available from the central office. AUPresses members should have received the application form via email. Please review the form carefully and make sure that all adequate information (number of catalogs, special dates to request, etc.) is filled out.
